okay, leaving work now. Headed to the tanning bed so I can be a beautiful bridesmaid in my light teal dress

Marshay, I understand. Men do not understand what our hormones are like after we have a baby. I hope he decides to do something. I remember my first Mother's Day and my in-laws called and wanted Scotty to go do some "family" thing. Kacy and I were not invited. Now I was still totally hormonal Kacy was barely a month old. I cried. My sister in-law had the nerve to call me and bold face tell me how it wasn't fair because I got him all the time. I went ballistic. I am not a favorite sister in-law by far.

Hi Guys.

Kacy is doing a report in history on the Kent State riots during Viet Nam and it is now creating tons of questions for me to answer. She is thinking that she might go into journalism. I was always interested in that myself. We shall see.

Kody wants to be a drug and alcohol councilor. Where that one comes from I don't know. I always figured she would be an environmentalist, who knows.

Oh wow

that is great they already know what they might want to do :thumbsup2

:rotfl: ho9pe you can get control then. AI is important. And it will kill me (as usual) to not be able to talk to you about it until you watch LOL.

yes....hmmmmm

Oh there's pictures up!?!? Where?? I wanna see!!

awwww poor Jamie :( I hope you are able to record it so you can at least watch it later.

I will do my best :rotfl:

Well to be honest ... I don't watch. Tried to watch the Biggest Loser last night. Then I found out it was 3 hours long :scared1: That killed it for me. I seem to like the Reality shows and then I drift off during the middle of the season. :confused3

Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Gymnastics, Baton -- actually now that I look at it -- it's only 3 hours but 1/2 drive there and back makes it 4. Plus the closer we get to the review, it seems the longer they keep them.

Wow, that is quite impressive. Mine now want to be a teacher or librarian and a chocolate maker / builder. :lmao::lmao:

WOW.....that is a lot...but sounds fun for the kids:goodvibes

Been watching Biggest Loser on Demand...Hoping last night epsisode on there soon....just saw last week...very good one :goodvibes

I meant to quote ChrisMiss...

I hope you get your teaching job back! That's strange how they do things.

congrats on 1.5 pounds!! that's wonderful!

okay here I was thinking how cute this was, and then BAM, you hit me with the 82!! :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

Leah! Great to see ya. How is Shannon doing now? I must have missed something about the surgery...? I still have to read further so you've probably mentioned this but I'm kinda replying page by page so as not to overwhelm myself. :goodvibes

Hey girl.....Yeah, it was sweet for the most part :rotfl2:

Playdate was fine. Yes, that mom was there and we all had a picnic lunch. I just told Rachel to stay on our blanket while eating since we had cheese on our sandwich and cheese chips. Nothing was said and it all worked out. Most importantly, Rachel had lots of fun with the other kids.

Glad it worked out well:goodvibes

ahh....skeery!! I hope you don't have that ring around it.

Oh my goodness! Silly DH! I read further and saw that you had a relaxing day so that is good!

how sweet of her! Sounds yummy!

aw, they are SO great! I know that song. It's been out a few years, really beautiful song. I didn't realize he died though. :sad2:

oh no...sorry about the computers!!! Let's hope this one stays with ya!

Okay, I'm a little confused as to what all that was but it sounds like you laughed in the face of danger for a day. :goodvibes

sweet! hope you have fun!!

your mom sounds sweet...

poor thing! I haven't read far enough but I hope the rash is gone!

yeah, such a sad thing.....great voice

Oh wow. Sounds like it will be busy. Stephanie and Josh are getting married on Monday. I have to miss it. The kids can't miss the school and Scotty is working so I will be sending a gift with my Mom to the wedding.

That stinks....

I have heard of a friday wedding, but never a Monday one :confused3

This really gave me a laugh! thanks!

bummer on no regular sitters! I say ask away....hehe

I hope you get to go! I want pics :thumbsup2

thanks! just entered. Boy, that was easy.

sounds like a good deal

PB?? on a burger??

thanks for the update. Safe travels to QM and Bryan!

I second what Carla said, Chrismiss. Hope the birthday for your MIL ends up being fun

I hear ya

I love Peanut butter
but do not put it on my burger :scared:

thanks for the update! Hope to see the pics soon...hint hint Nikki

aww...bummer

LOL I'd use y'all. But I would expect a discount :snooty:

:rotfl:

ahh, interesting!!

oh, that's much better than before!

I miss her too. :sad2:

oh that's cool!

ugh...can't they do anything the RIGHT way?

oh I'm definitely not worried about him being eliminated. And I didn't even vote. I decided it's not worth it this season. I am not really attached to any of the contestants like I've been in the past. I actually like Kris and feel like he's underappreciated though. I honestly think he's the most marketable and they will find a way to get him to the finale with Adam...

Kris' song was picked by Randy and Kara (who annoys the crap out of me by the way)

I LOVED Heartless as well. I thought Simon's comment was well-deserved.

Aha, you agree with me! Shocker! :rotfl:

I just noticed you renamed me :lmao:

OK, so I'm in a funk today.

I was talking to my sis about DH not doing anything for Mom's day. She mentioned that I should at least get 2 extra days at Disney for that. It was a joke. I told that to DH this morning and laughed. Instead he gets all upset and tells me that I should just "drop it...it's a sore subject for him!"

Well, I stood there shocked. So I said that I understand he is embarrassed or mad that he forgot mom's day but what was he going to do? Just hide it and pretend it didn't happen?

I told him that I'm sure he still has something planned so I've been patient these last few days ....

No response.

Then I told him that he really hurt me...of all years to remember Mom's day and do something nice, this would be the one. Then I just went crying to take a shower since he didn't say anything.

Next thing I hear the garage door going up and he left to go to work.

:mad::sad1:

I thought I was over it as long as he was still planning to do something. But now I find out he was just not going to do anything and it p&*#% me off.

We haven't talked all day now...I'm dreading when he comes home...

I am sorry girl

Sounds like he is very embarrassed and feels awful

I hope you both can talk about it later

So glad it went well Marshay. And I'm sure all the ladies were ooing and aahhing over Elie :thumbsup2

Me too. And I tend watch some of the shows on VH1 late at night when I can't sleep.

Me too

you go and have a great time!

oops, cut off half of what you had typed but yes I am very excited about the football game.

Apparently, May is a popular month to get married. I've heard of a lot of weddings lately.

It is.....my anniversary is next weekend.

oh that article was crazy! They seemed to take it well though. I think I'd have made the hospital pay for the counseling--just to have them pay for SOMETHING for what they did. Obviously God wanted it to happen that way for a reason but still...

neither does my cousin's 6 (almost 7) year old boy :confused3

yeah I agree with you on making the hospital pay for something. It's weird how God works sometimes.

weird....

I didn't become interested in it til just a few years ago

cool...I read an article on allears about it--I think it was Jack Spence's blog.

I know you love Stitch but to me it sounds SO cheesy. Such a waste of space!

glad I'm not the only one

yeah the more i read about it and I watched the video it looks really cheesy and lame. Stitch deserves better

I miss her too. :sad2:

ugh...can't they do anything the RIGHT way?

LOL but of course :thumbsup2 only the best for our DIS buds :grouphug:

yeah I think so too. No more scrolling through tons of pages to find what we want.

Apparently not :headache:

Ohmygosh, I started my replies on the top of page 122, and finished them on the top of page 123!! :faint:

:scared1: you did good responding to everyone tho

omg so sorry to hear about your arguement with your DH marshay :hug:My DH gets that way too and then we go all day not talking and I dread him coming home from work too but most of the time he's fine by then so hopefully your DH was fine this evening too. That really sucks that he's not doing anything late for mothers day for you. I hope you guys can get it all resolved and you have a better day tomorrow :hug:

Marshay, I can understand the funk. DH's can be so stubborn and cruel sometimes. At times I truly believe that men and women come from 2 different planets as a certain book would suggest!

I hope he does something to redeem himself when you get home. I'm sure his male pride was just stung a little.

Thanks for the advice and hugs...

I'm kind of caught up. Marshay, I'm so sorry you're in such a funk. Husbands can be such buttheads sometimes. I do think he should give up some extra disney days. We'll have to get on him about that.

Happy anniversary, belated anniversary to everybody who is celebrating.

What else am I missing? American Idol? Eh, I haven't watched. Sorry.

Somehow I am not amazed at you not watching American Idol. Not quite your cup of tea I don't think. Too many emo boys for you.:lmao:

and for my Idol fans -- :cool1:

I am pleased.:goodvibes

Ditto that :thumbsup2
