Did you start Plum Spooky yet? I just got a book which I thought was by Janet Evanovich but I think it is just someone's opinion on her Plum series, I have to check it out when I am finished my Mary Higgins Clark book.

While I worked my big temp job today, 4 hours, Bryan scrubbed all the spots that have accumulated over the 10 months we've been here (on the carpet). So I am sitting here trying to catch up on the DIS and I reached over to get a drink and knocked my glass of "black cherry" soda over on the carpet ! I could not believe it. I just soaked up all the liquid and there is this big red spot so I sprayed a ton of spot remover on it and am waiting for it work its magic and then I will scrub it and hope the stain comes out.

Hey Everyone...boy it's been busy around here.

We had a busy weekend with Easter and my future SIL's bridal shower. Everything was good but I just got home last night and I am tired!

Cheri - How is your Mom? I just read back and am so sorry she is dealing with this. I have never heard of the Cat illness...so weird that it fits her description.

Tat - Oh my gosh girl, how are you doing? Are you still in the hospital? You aren't in PGH are you? I would come and visit if you are. 's to you and text me if you need anything at all!

Sharky - I hope Huey is ok. I just heard of the Walgreens Take Care Clinic, it's supposed to be really nice. Speaking of illness, how is your ear now? Btw...love the new avi

Carla - Whatcha up to girl? I just looked at your quilting pics FB...you are so talented! I'm thinking of getting one of those sewing/embroider machines...do you know anything about them?

Chele - How is Kody? I think of her often and hope she is feeling ok.

As for my mom, the bloodwork, ultrasound, x-ray, and bone scan came back clean. It's unexplainable as of now. Tomorrow she goes in for her scheduled mammogram (she's due anyway but she has the lymph nodes swollen so they figure it's a good idea...they scheduled it before her abdominal lymph nodes swelled up too)

I was with her today at the hospital and she slept most of the day. The doctor came in the afternoon and told her that the tests were inconclusive and released her from the hospital. She was very happy to go home. He gave her levsin which is an antispasmatic just incase a lot of her pain is being caused by spasms. That and vicodin.

Cheri I am glad they released your Mom but I wish they could come up with a diagnosis. That has got to be upsetting and frustrating not knowing what is actually wrong with you. Keep us posted. Our prayers are with her!

Well I put me DH on a plane for Florida - he is going down to close on our house!!!yay:

For the next several years it will be a vacation home that our oldest DD (WDW CM) will live in. In a fantasy world it will be our retirement home - many many many many moons from now

The house is located in Poinciana about 25 minutes from the mouse. I will be going down there this summer for 5 or 6 weeks. I will be known as the anti-Snowbird

He comes home in a week and will be bringing home our oldest She comes home twice a year - The Mouse doesn't pay that well

Off to check flight tracker and see where hubby's plane is.

How's everyone??

Braetons cough has settled in his lungs and he started running fever today despite being on antibiotics for the last 4 days. We are going to wait for 2 more to see if he gets better. This is per the Dr. If he gets even a little worse we are to go back in immediatly. In the meantime we are just doubling on breathing treatments and following all meds.

Oh Good news. I had 14 visitors come with me Sun morn. 13 of them were first time visitors to our little church! Some of them had NEVER been in a church before. ANY kind of church except for funerals. Several said they were coming back next Sun and I've got a couple coming with me tomorrow night Well actually that's tonight!!

I was very excited. And you know what Tat? A couple of them remind me of you and No the church walls didn't fall down. You know I love you and I'm definatly praying double for you now. So sorry i didn't get on here to find out you were in the hospital.


Cheri hope your moms all right. I'll have to find those post also!!

Man, that sucks. I think that when doctors and nurses can't figure something out -- they automatically come to the conclusion that you are faking it or hypochondriac or something. My DH has been having chest pain for about two years. They actually operated on him and thought they found the problem and guess what? Pain is still there. Now they are saying it may be arthritis? Sheesh.

OMG Jamie, that sucks. I can't believe that he's been having chest pains for two years!!! If they didn't know what the problem was, what in the world did they operate for? That sounds terrible, so is it just arthritis or not? When are they planning on giving him a good solid diagnosis?

I just started it about an hr ago. I read 3 chapters so far. It took me a few pages to get into it, figure otu what is going on. But it is really good now

Funny story, the day that it was decided that our lawn mower was beyond repair the garbage disposal started acting up. I was livid. I felt like I was at the bottom of the hill and the snowball was getting bigger as it rolled down near me.

Not much going on here - Jake is still in Florida - I guess we have a bed, washer/dryer, TV, couch and sleeper sofa.....the miracles of the internet and cell phone photos. Yes, we discussed all this before he left He and DD are coming home on Weds.

Tomorrow I have to go to a baby shower that is 45 minutes away.....ugh......I don't like going to showers BORING - don't mind giving the gift but don't like going - thought my own wedding showers were boring I'm soooooooo weird.
