I'mma talk about my concert nao.

So, we got into the venue (after waiting outside for God knows how long...) at about 6:15. Me and Ryan went into the merch room to buy shirts. The Maine was doing a meet-and-greet in there, but the line was 80384710827340817 thousand miles and I'm not really into there music, so we passed on that.

A Rocket To The Moon played first. They're a pretty recent band, so they only played the 5 songs off their EP. I felt like the only one who didn't know the words to any of the songs We stayed down on the floor for about 2 songs, but I didn't like it so we went up on this balcony thing. I liked it better there. I could actually see. They played 3 more songs that sounded exactly like the first 2 (don't you hate it when that happens?).

About 5 minutes later, Hit The Lights went on stage. As opposed to A Rocket To The Moon, I thought they were pretty good. And I felt alone again. But not because I didn't know the words. I knew 2 songs, which was more than anyone else. About halfway through the set, Ryan went back into the merch room to get their CD (he really liked them) and bought a shirt too because the CD was only $5 and he felt bad.

After what felt like hours (but was probably somewhere around 15 minutes), Family Force 5 started playing. They were AMAZING. And during "Numb" (song about dancing), they made the people on the floor clear the middle for dancing. Soul Glow Activator said "I want ya'll to get down like Chris Brown and Rihanna!". I didn't hear what was said but someone in the audience said something that made him get this angry look on his face and he's like "Don't say that!". During the middle of "Numb", Nadaddy did an awesome keyboard solo and the rest of the band started dancing all around. Fatty did the backwards worm. Right before "Love Addict" (their biggest hit), Soul Glow put on his Soul Glow gloves which are like awesome silver boxing gloves. Chap Stique jumped into the crowd (amid crotch grabbing young girls... *darty eyes*) during "Radiator". And then during their last song "Fever", the drummer Crouton got up on his drumset and started dancing on it.

Then, we left because The Maine is one of those every-song-sounds-the-same bands and 30h!3 is just lame, vulgar, whiteboy rappers who can't rap. I prefer my whiteboy rappers to rap at me about God, not sex kthnx.

And that's the concert. I dun have any pictures because Ryan only took them during Family Force 5, but they didn't turn out because Crouton had a light on his drumset. But it was pretty much amazing.

The Chinese food haulers dont like to refrigerate the food when they haul it .....We siezed approx. 6 semi loads of chinese food last year and took them to the landfill!! We found 100+ degree semi trailers with frozen chicken all thawed out....blood dripping out the back of the trailers......whole fish on the wood floors of trailers..... veggies going bad......it is NASTY......it is a huge problem.....whenever we stop food haulers we have to verify the temp. of the trailer......if its not where it is supposed to be (temp. wise) we call the health dept...
We caught some of the companies out of Chicago renting Ryder trucks (with no refrig. units on them) to haul the product......because we were stopping so many of the trucks with the chinese lettering on them.....The chinese restaurants and trucking companies are all one big network......they are just too cheap to run the ref. units on the trucks...........

BTW, they dont throw any food away!!!!!

Hey Uncle John, that sounds terrible! I don't think I ever want to eat in a chinese restaurant again, I would imagine they are all as bad as the next with that sort of thing. Thanks for the info!!!

Well, sent Trent to school today and lasted 30 mins before we got call from school nurse. He was coughing a lot.

She said we could keep him there until end of day, just to check him out after school

But we decided to pull him sooner and steve picked him up at 2:30 and took him to the take care clinic at Walgreen.

Turns out he has an ear infection and mild bronchitis.

Solthey gave us amoxcillin, which would help with the coughing and speed up getting rid of it

They said if he has trouble sleeping at night due to the coughin, to use benadryl

Dr said no school for 2-3 days

He did not have school on monday, as that was his lady on Easter Break and only made it half way today, so not sure if he was counted as absent or not

So, that leaves 3 days left this week

Afraid to send him back on friday, as he will be around all the other kids with their germs

So, just going to keep him home until next Monday

Stinks, but what you going to do

Hope my little guy feels a lot better by now, well we talk all the time so I know, but hope he can make it thru Monday without catching any more germs from anyone!
