Have you ever pressure washed your house? That's how Chris gets our top windows clean. We have a light color for siding so if we don't pressure wash the house at least every other year it starts to look really grimy.

Yeppers, she got to finish her job

Well fortunately my PTR doesn't have that much going on it yet, so it is a quick read. Oh I love doing that, turn the girls loose in their perspective areas and kick back in a comfy chair with a book at B & N. The trick is to make it out the door without spening $100 on books!

We just got the bed set up last night and she is very happy. She had been sleeping on a day bed for the past couple of years so she was excited to have a "real bed". And she slept very well on it last night

As far as handguns I have an old colt .22, a S & W .38, a S & W .45 semi-auto (my favorite - it is the "short" version and is very well balanced and not too bluky). I haven't been shooting in over a year - need to find some time to do that.

I've shot the Desert Eagle and a lot of handgun. My ex stepdad had a Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. I remember him shooting a madrone stump with a hollowpoint round and it exploding into a cloud of wood shards. Who needs a stump grinder

I had to pick up PumpkinGirl from school due to a bad allergy attack. She had walked past a big field on the way to school and of course there was someone with one of those tractor mowers stirring up all kinds of fun. I'm at home with her now with her dosed up on her allergy meds and me DISing and playing with another Jack Skellington T-shirt design

.45 would be decent for wild boar. My cousins used to hunt javelina (smaller, faster, and meaner than standard wild boar) and they always took my uncle's .45 ACP for a backup if they got too close. I wish he had done the tree stump trick in the time of easily accessable camcorders - it would have been cool to post on youtube.

Well Kody's DR is trying to get her into the headache clinic. It is in hopes of figuring this out. She agreed that the neurologists appointment was pretty much worthless. She is changing Kody's meds so maybe that will help. I am hoping something helps. Something has to work. The neurologist was all about well it's either the psuedo tumor or it's common daily headache that she will get rid of by sleeping regular hours and doing away with caffeine. Her DR was like you need caffeine to get rid of headaches. So hopefully the headache clinic will yield some answers finally.

Oh, yeah, they do. Shane even learned to make pasta on the stove. I won't let him do that unless I'm right there and I always drain the pasta so he doesn't burn himself, though.

That is Kyra's fav and the first thing she learned to cook. She can even strain it now - whoohoo! She's turning into a little chef (thank God since nobody else in the house has a calling for it )

I don't know if you ever watch the food network but Loren went through a stage where he wanted to watch it all the time. There is this chef on there named Alton Brown and he kind of makes up recipes as he goes. Well Loren decided to do this one time with brownies when I was sick. Story I hear is they were beyond bad. He doesn't go away fron the recipe anymore.

Fam watches the food network and I have a good friend who is like Alton ...he can just walk into a kitchen and throw something really good together. Darn him!

Hi everyone!!

DD is back in Florida - we had a GREAT visit. She got to go to a Cubs game, went shopping, had an ER DVD marathon, went to downtown Chicago - well let's just say it was crazy.

Of course the one thing I wanted her to do was to clean out her drawers and closet - she moved out 3 years ago and I guarantee there are clothes here that have not seen her body in years. And of course that is the one thing that didn't get done

Loved having her home though......

Well I am back in the loop and hope to stay there for a while.

Well I have decided to join Jenny Craig - I really need to get some of this weight off to relieve my knee. Going in for another round of orthvisc injections to create a pseudo cartilage for my knee. It would help to lose the weight but I haven't been able to do this on my own......Determined to make this work.......
