Hi everyone!!

DD is back in Florida - we had a GREAT visit. She got to go to a Cubs game, went shopping, had an ER DVD marathon, went to downtown Chicago - well let's just say it was crazy.:goodvibes:goodvibes

Of course the one thing I wanted her to do was to clean out her drawers and closet - she moved out 3 years ago and I guarantee there are clothes here that have not seen her body in years. And of course that is the one thing that didn't get done:laughing:

Loved having her home though......

So how is everyone doing..........

How was the movie......not a true fan of Angelina Jolie so not sure I want to see the movie.

Good Luck with the headache clinic. Glad to hear that her DR is still working on it.

Well I am back in the loop and hope to stay there for a while.

Well I have decided to join Jenny Craig - I really need to get some of this weight off to relieve my knee. Going in for another round of orthvisc injections to create a pseudo cartilage for my knee. It would help to lose the weight but I haven't been able to do this on my own......Determined to make this work.......

Have a Magical Disney Day.

Hey Chrismiss

Sounds like you girls had a blast on her visit

Glad you all caught up:goodvibes

Good luck with Jenny Craig:thumbsup2

i burned my wrist real bad with my new espresso maker!!! me being brilliant didnt read the instructions adn didnt think to relieve the pressure before opening the top and it exploded and got me good..

So, where those pics of your new place popcorn::

ooh how was it? I've been wanting to see that one.

I think the movie was really good drama. The subject matter makes you want to scream though. Mom goes to work one day leaving boy at home and when she comes back, he is gone. Police then tell her that this new kid is her son. She knows he is not but no one believes her in the police dept.

I won't go into further details (unless you want me too, b/c it is horrific what happens).

It's supposed to be a true story...I just can't imagine.

Hi Guys!

Well Kody's DR is trying to get her into the headache clinic. It is in hopes of figuring this out. She agreed that the neurologists appointment was pretty much worthless. She is changing Kody's meds so maybe that will help. I am hoping something helps. Something has to work. The neurologist was all about well it's either the psuedo tumor or it's common daily headache that she will get rid of by sleeping regular hours and doing away with caffeine. Her DR was like you need caffeine to get rid of headaches. So hopefully the headache clinic will yield some answers finally.

Prayers for you all! Hope you can get in the clinic.

How was the movie......not a true fan of Angelina Jolie so not sure I want to see the movie.

Actually AJ does a TERRIFIC job! The role is soooo totally NOT Angela. She is subdued and your heart just goes out to her.

The movie made me cry. It was unsettling but a good dramatic movie.

So sorry to hear this. Do you need to go to the hospital?

Sorry Steph, I read that post wrong earlier

I thought you said you BUMMED your wrist, thinking you bang it with cap or something

I see now you burned it

Hope you are okay:goodvibes

i think its alright.. i am going to make an appointment to see the DR.. but I dont wanna waste all day in the ER over it.. its not that bad..

So, my mom and her dh made it home today around 2pm

But before they did, they stopped off in Slidell and met OB for the first time. They had a quick breakfast at Mcdonalds.

My mom said they had a real nice visit and was so glad she got to meet her finally:goodvibes

Here is a pic from their meet:

FB has us in it's clutches! Glad you're out enjoying the weather!

We just got the bed set up last night and she is very happy. She had been sleeping on a day bed for the past couple of years so she was excited to have a "real bed". And she slept very well on it last night :cloud9:

Oh joy, first trip to the dentist :P May the dentist be personable and the check-up be cavity-free! And I agree about the weekend - ZOOM and it was gone! :scared::confused:

I had to pick up PumpkinGirl from school due to a bad allergy attack. She had walked past a big field on the way to school and of course there was someone with one of those tractor mowers stirring up all kinds of fun. I'm at home with her now with her dosed up on her allergy meds and me DISing and playing with another Jack Skellington T-shirt design ;)

Have a great Monday all!

Isn't that the truth about FB...now adding a Scrabble game to the mix could really cause problems

So glad she likes her new bed! I bet she is :cloud9:

Well, the dental visit went about as well as I expected :upsidedow The dentist said she had seen much worse...I have a feeling that was to make me feel better :rotfl2:The good news is there were no cavities :woohoo:

Poor PumpkinGirl...I hope she is feeling better now. Allergies are no fun at all.

Thank you Cheri - she is doing better but her head is still very stuffy.

Oh, and to save everyone from having to go back to my PTR, I made another Jack Skellington T-shirt logo- ta-dah!

jacksocools.jpg

VERY nice!

I need to get over to your PTR!

Hi girlie

I don;t think I have ever cleaned my windows, other than the ledges :rotfl:

Sure, we can play too. I will set up a game and will send you an invite

I agree...going to be a long summer

Swear it did this last year, too...got like a week of spring and went to summer...hate that :scared1:

Oh man..how did she do?

Trent first appt is May 14th...good times

Mine were BAD...now they are sparkling...of course that's only the downstairs

Ooops, I didn't see the scrabble invite until just now! Ok, your turn :thumbsup2

Well, we went from 87 to 59 today! Dreary ugly day...I was getting used to the nice weather, NOT FAIR!

That is good news that they want her to go to the Headache clinic. It's not fair to her to have to deal with this as part of her every day life.

Scrabble junkies! Have fun with that - I'll stick to Mafia Wars for now :thumbsup2

That's too bad about the neurologist. We're still contemplating taking Bean to the one down here who diagnosed her with the Chiari to see if he can help with her headaches. We took her to a local chiropractor/naturopath who has helped Kyra with some other issues. One of the things he did was give Bean blue-tinted wrap-around glasses. She is supposed to wear them about 4hrs a day. She has had less headaches since she started wearing them.

Good luck with the doctors Chele, she is in our prayers

I'm scared now that I have found scrabble...you are smart to stay away

Poor Bean. I know the Chiropractor had really helped me in the past with my migraines. That is really interesting about the glasses. So nice there is something that can help her.

That's funny that she has all of that stuff at your house. To this day, my Mom still brings bags of things when she comes to visit that I left at her house. I really am in no hurry either go get anything and I haven't lived there since 97 :rotfl2:

Good luck with Jenny Craig. Have you done that before? I have heard that it really works and is a nice program.

Thanks Cheri. Is your Mom feeling better?

actually she's still the same. As a matter of fact, the lymph nodes behind her knees have joined the mix now.

Her b/w came back yesterday. They had tested for lyme disease and she does not have it.

She's going to finish out the antibiotic they gave her and if she still doesn't improve, they are going to biopsy her lymph node (the first one that swelled)

Good luck on the JC diet. Have you ever been on JC before?

i burned my wrist real bad with my new espresso maker!!! me being brilliant didnt read the instructions adn didnt think to relieve the pressure before opening the top and it exploded and got me good..

oh no!! I hope it feels better today.

I have an expresso maker that I have yet to use. I need to get the stuff and try it out though! I love cappuccino which is why my DH got it for me.

I'll definitely have to be careful. So after all that did you get to drink your coffee? was it good?

We are doing good! How are you? How is your Mom? I'm trying to clean out clothes today so that the closets aren't bursting...

Hello all! I was hoping to have a few minutes by myself but baby is now crying in her crib. We've been putting her in a bassinet at night so I'm trying to get her used to the crib (it's a harder mattress).

Hey Marshay

Oh fun times....Hopefully she will adjust for you soon:goodvibes

Oh well, off to work and school now

Betsy, our weather did the same thing here

It was almost 95 yesterday

Today it is high of 59 and right now it is 53 and drizzling

Can't we just get a happy medium..say like 75 and sunny :confused3

Talk to ya all later:goodvibes

Still playing mafia wars, but scrabble is so fun :cool1:

Glad the glasses are helping Bean :3dglasses

Yes, it works for me because I can just jump on and off quickly and nobody is stuck waiting for me. Since most of my DISbuds are east coast I don't really get to play with y'all. I don't get off work until 8:30pm your time and then there's dinner and time with the kids, so I don't get back on a computer until 1am EST.

Well I have decided to join Jenny Craig - I really need to get some of this weight off to relieve my knee. Going in for another round of orthvisc injections to create a pseudo cartilage for my knee. Good luck with Jennny Craig, I hope it works well for you - keep us posted. Roxy and I are struggling with weight issues (for me it's less the extra pound and more the high BP/cholesterol from bad eating habits) and are needing to turn things around.

i burned my wrist real bad with my new espresso maker!!! me being brilliant didnt read the instructions adn didnt think to relieve the pressure before opening the top and it exploded and got me good..

At this point I have a tabbed browser that opens FB, MySpace, the DISboards, and another disney-oriented site that I'm active in. Good thing I'm a great multi-tasker :thumbsup2

Yeah, Bean was complaining that she turned on her "night music" and fell asleep before it even got to the second song :rotfl: She is a very happy camper in her new bed for sure.

Yay for no cavities!!! :yay:

PumpkinGirl's allergies have been better the past couple of days due to some spring rains wetting everything down.

Thank you for the compliment on the Skellington logo - I'm really happy with it :-] And no worries on my PTR, it is slow going being so far out. It'll ramp up as the date gets closer ...164 days and counting! :woohoo:

Good luck with the scrabble addiction ;D

Hiya! Good luck with the wee one's transition to the crib. She'll get used to it soon enough ...and then will be big enough to climb out of it :rotfl:

Thanks! Turns out she was just bored and not ready for bed yet. So DD3 and I played with her and then she fell asleep...on the baby swing however...but at least I was able to make lunch for DD3 and I even had a chance to eat it and come back to type this message!

Wow -- what progress :rotfl2:

Just wanted to do a quick post. I'm all read up but don't have time to reply to anything since it's time for me to go home from work. And I'll be playing with my new camera this afternoon/evening so I might just pop on and post some pictures of the dogs :thumbsup2

Hope everyone is doing well!

LOL For a while there I could still call it "my room" but about a year or 2 ago they gave my bed away. :sad1:

I think there is one piece of furniture in there that belonged to me. My nightstand. I might still have stuff in there. LOL
The other day my dad tried to give me "my file" from their filebox. It had report cards from when I was a kid, my safe driving school certificate, my vaccine records from when I was like 4, and numerous other things. I asked if he would mind keeping it. I told him they need to keep a piece of me there. :goodvibes

I need to do that but I don't want to get rid of any clothes. hehe

My mom is doing okay. She's been making it to work so that's a good thing. She is still taking the vicodin to keep the pain away.

The lyme disease test came back and she doesn't have that. They are going to biopsy her lymph node if the antibiotics she's on don't work.

Hello all! I was hoping to have a few minutes by myself but baby is now crying in her crib. We've been putting her in a bassinet at night so I'm trying to get her used to the crib (it's a harder mattress).

Hi guy's!

Carla woo hoo! I am glad that the UPS drivers are still safe in your neighborhood.;)

Cheri, I hope that everything is okay with your Mo.

Marshay, I am glad that it all worked out with the little one.

I just kind of skimmed so if I missed anybody I am sorry. I am kind of out of it in a weird way.

Aw! So cute! I miss Orangie... she never visits me on RB anymore and she refuses to join facebook! :sad2: Come to think of it, Nikki is still holding out on FB too. Would it lure either one of you if I told you I just posted a picture of Abby's boyfriend on my wall? :rolleyes1

Sharky's gonna be happy...

GUESS WHAT I JUST FINISHED????

Holy crap! This cannot mean what I think it means! I haven't been there in awhile... hmmmmmmm... next stop. :thumbsup2

Okay people.... it is SAD, but true. I cannot keep up. :headache:Too many things pulling me in too many directions these days.
