Agreed. I still don't know how Chris and I had successful trips when I didn't do research and planning like I do now for them. I wish I had known when we took our honeymoon there about DIS and all the things we could have done. *sigh* I now try to tell as many ppl as possible about dis and wdw info at least. My Brother and his family are going down there in October and I mentioned making ADR's to him and he said he hadn't even thought of that yet and asked for me to make some recommendations! Can you believe that!? If I hadn't of said anything they were going to try and get in somewhere on a whim during free dining!!

Nope, no room at Pop at all. In fact the whole darn park seems to be booked with or without the discount except for BC, YC and OKW! The problem is that we have 5 in our family... if I could just ditch.... nope, not gonna go there!

Yep, checked the cabins too... nada. I told Tomato about pop warner and he said, "Where else can we stay?". Even the football fanatic wants to stay somewhere else!

Naaa dont worry about changing....Abby will be fine at AS...dont worry about it all..............they wont bother her in the pool area........she will be fine with 150 boys in the pool trying to impress eachother.......(actually she could take care of herself, she's tough!)

Whats the discount rate at POR??? Not florida, just regular discount..isnt it about $129 or less.....we are paying $149 with Free Dining.......I better call and see if we can add 1 night....we are flying in Wed. night.......but I dont want the dining option....just the lower room rate.....we wont get in until 9 or 10.........then I have them link it to the other ressie so we dont have to change rooms....just get new cards......

They are actually staying off site so they haven't talked to any Disney person yet. My Brother said that they were trying to go during their oldest son's fall break time but those dates have changed so now they are trying to get their vacation dates changed before they book anything dining wise.

Just the FL discount rooms are filled up except for those few places. I think I tried to get into Pop without the discount though and couldn't get anything. So I think that is booked. I could get a room at the reg. rate at POR, buy reg. park tix and get free dining for about 600 bucks more than we are quoted now. Knowing I can go without coughing that up makes it really hard to switch.

I'm gonna sit back and wait a bit.

Not gonna panic.

what if just you get an annual pass and then u try and get an AP discount at one of the resorts? AP will pay for it self after a couple of trips

or only one of you need to buy a one day park pass to get the free dining
