That stinks that the bank is not giving Fri or Mon off. I'm sorry honey. If I decide to definitely take off I will be taking off Friday. I had originally wanted to take off Monday and celebrate my birthday but since Bryan has to fly out of here Monday at 5:00 a.m. there's not much sense taking off. So I decided on Friday.

Yes that was them that laid off. They had a couple big lay offs, they had duplicate jobs in the Shreveport office so they got rid of the duplicates and dead wood and now they seem to be doing better, or so I've been told.



Yep, I killed a mommy though I didn't know at the time it was a Mommy until I squashed it and out they all few. Itw as so gross. I think I'd have died had that been in our house! What did you and Mike do when it happened in your house? I would have freaked out!



I was about to tell Cheri about Azo. Its designed to hold you until you can get to the doctor and get antibiotics. I have used it many, many times and it really does take away some of that pain and pressure feeling until you get the real medication.



Take the Azo, it works for a temporary fix. I have tried the cranberry juice years ago but I don't really like cranberry juice so I spent the entire time drinking Peach Schnapps and cranberry juice. I don't know if it worked or at some point I just did not care, LOL> I don't think it will hurt if you take a Tyelnol and an Azo! Feel better girl!

Will be gone for six weeks The computer is in a different room from where I have been hanging so I am not on it all the time.....Pulling stuff together that we are going to take down to the house including our Christmas tree (we have two), the cat, and anything else that isn't nailed down

The high tomorrow in Chicago is (are you ready) 65 degree!!!!! On July 1st......I can't handle this....hoping for 78 by the 4th.

Awww well hopefully that will stop soon for you. I know being out in the heat like that really gets to me too. I usually feel "off" for a couple of days after our swimming adventures here lately. It's just not fair to have to feel like that. Blah!

That's okay Sorry to hear you don't get Friday or Monday off. Do you at least get time and a half? I mean by law you are supposed to either get a paid day off in observance of the holiday or time and a half for when you work. This is a nationally required holiday. I hope your boss knows that.

Hey I need all ya'lls opinion. I started this job 3 weeks ago, I'm not so fond of it, the pay is very low and the mileage too and from is 32 each way so I'm using a lot of gas for a little money for a job I don't care for. I saw a job in the paper I'd like and I feel guilty for quiting if i get a new job which is closer and pays more. The people here are really nice and very good to me otherwise. However, I am still up ini the air what I am doing as if I a moving with Bryan to MS, if I am staying here and he's going to MS and I hate to start another new job and end up having to quit in August if I do go with him. You see the job I saw that I liked was at my old place and I loved it there. I became friends with the boss and a lot of the other workers so am not sure it would be fair to lie to them that oh yea I am staying here and then not. What do you think?

I would wait and make a decision on the move to MS first.

Yopu worked too hard in that heat that is why you feel this way, you sweated out all your potassium and screwed up your electrolytes, makes sure you eat a banana or drink orange juice and maybe get some gatorade or something in you.

My glasses got so fogged up when I left work yesterday I couldn't see a thing.

I hope it's nothing big with the 5th wheel, but either way it should be warranty work. DH has to start traveling again, all summer so there goes all of our camping, it will sit outside and I can't go anywhere as i can't drive that thing or set it up.

Well after 2 1/2 days of being sick to my stomach, I am finally right again. Live and learn.

I should be getting it ready for our weekend trip to the beach, but it is still over there. I am going to have a lot to do next week. I hear ya, I can't drive mine either. I keep telling DH I would like to get something smaller, or a motor home that I can drive. He just looks at me like I am crazy.

Can I vent?

I think I have a UTI...well, I'm almost 100% sure I do. (The bizarre thing is that the burning only happens in the evening, not during the day )
Well, as y'all know, I went to the Dr. last Tuesday with all the stomach stuff, as well as back pain (over where my kidneys are) -- it was not my regular Dr. because I couldn't get in to see him. Well they had done a urine test in their lab and it came back clear. So did the CBC So they did an ultrasound and I was still waiting on that.

Anyway it wasn't burning when I went to the bathroom at the time but over the past few days it has been (just in the evening, like I said before)
So I called that Dr's office this morning and left a message with the nurse, explaining that I thought I had a UTI and that I was there last week, etc.

So the stupid friggin nurse called me back. She goes “your ultrasound came back just fine. I have an order for you to do a urine sample at Quest diagnostics..” and I pretty much interrupted her and said “but Quest takes a couple of days to get results back” She said “on a urine sample I would think it’s pretty quick” I said “no, they send all their stuff off, they don’t even do it there” and she put me on hold. Then she’s like “okay, well I’m sorry I’m gonna have to get you to do it at Quest. I'll call them every day to see if the results are in. I’ll leave the orders in the front if you want”

Then I asked what time they[the dr. office] close…she said 4. I said well I can’t pick it up today, can you fax it? She said no, I can mail it to your home if you want. (uh, no?? that would take a couple days) I basically just huffed and said, there’s NO way you can give me a script? I’ve had a ton of these and I know what it is. I told her I’ll even take one of those home tests. She said no, we can’t do that blah blah blah. I said fine, I guess I’ll have to pick up the order at lunch tomorrow and do it then. (then of course wait 2 or 3 days (which would mean probably not til MONDAY) for the results and then I’ll either be better by then or be in sheer agony…..%%^$$!#$@%%^ stupid!!!) I'm REALLY REALLY TICKED OFF AT THAT OFFICE!

Jeez. They act like you were asking for a controlled substance. Unbelievable.

I just saved our office from a man-eating spider!! Okay, maybe not man-eating...but it was HUGE!!

I don't kill spiders, I shoo them outside. Somehow I got it stuck in my head that it's bad luck. Is that weird?

You are a brave girl! I hate spiders. When we wre camping in FL I stepped on this huge spider on the concrete pad near the camper and it exploded into millions of tiny spiders, they few everywhere. I thought I was freaking die!

I gotta get off here a while girl, I have some work I need to do and the boss should be back shortly and it takes so long for this to close out that I don't want her walking in and seeing what I'm doing. Glad I was able to get on and get caught up a bit.

We have company in from FL for a week so I wont' be on much at night. Remember Disibelle, she psoted a few times a while back, well its Disibelle and her DH who are our friends who are visiting.

I forgot to answer QM yesterday…when the baby spiders started running everywhere (which was the #1 freakiest thing I’ve ever seen in person), I had to start hitting them with the broom to kill them. I just had to do it as FAST as I could to keep them from running too far. After I killed the majority, I went around the room trying to sweep in the ones that “got away” and kill them too. It was horridly disgusting.
