Update:

They sprung me from the hospital yesterday. We weren't quite out of Ohio yet and had to stop for gas. My back felt like it was wet. So I had Joe check and, sure enough, there is STILL CSF leaking out. And it's leaking out through where they loaded me up with more sutures. That must be a problem spot. So after countless stitches and lots of Dermabond, it still isn't staying in. I have to go back for an appointment tomorrow and I have a horrible suspicion that they're going to keep me and do more surgery on me. I just got out of the place!

I was so happy to get home for at least a little while, but I have a feeling I won't be staying here long. On the bright side, I no longer have a charlie horse in my butt cheeks.

Wow, I'm also glad you're getting to be home ...but the docs need to make sure you're a bit better patched up before they let you out to do cartwheels on the front lawn Take care and feel better Nikki!

I posted this on my ptr and on fb too but in case you haven't seen it and care to watch here's a video of some of my doggies. I'm trying to get the hang of my camcorder still.

Thanks girls. The whole thing has me pretty stressed out right now. I just got back from the local ER. Had to get some morphine in me because I was in so much pain I was scaring my kids. Kyleigh got on the phone and called my mother (which I did not know about) and pretty soon my mom and stepdad were walking in my door. I guess my mom had called out to the Cleveland Clinic and they said to take me to our local ER just to get me some relief from the pain.

So now I'm hopped up on morphine. Can't believe I'm actually spelling correctly so far (I think). I have now developed a second leak on the incision on my side. Seriously, how the hell does CSF get over there??? Pretty soon I'm gonna have CSF coming out my eyeballs, literally! But now, except for the stabbing pain that is my eyeballs (is...are...whatever), the pain has diminished a lot.

And Farmville is really ticking me off tonight. Why is my game constantly out of sync? Then I have to go back and redo EVERYTHING. I do not have a little farm. It takes 10 minutes just to harvest the crops. If I don't harvest them tonight, they're going to wither. Shane played my mafia wars for me today, but neglected my freaking farm! He's so grounded tomorrow!

Good gravy Nikki! Yes, big kudos to Kyleigh for getting on the phone and bringing in more family support and to your mom & stepdad for getting you down to the ER. Hopefully the doctors will get things straightened out and you can get on the mend. Feel better!

Oh, and you have a lot more patience han I do - I steer clear of Farmville. Roxy played it for a while and that game needs such constant babysitting I like Mafia Wars ...you neglect it and it just means more money to come back to!

gosh, me too. And it wouldn't pull up the neighbors last night for a while, so I couldn't help anyone for coins and XP! It kept giving this message that they were working on the problem. Blah blah blah!

Here's a helpful tip. Maybe try only harvesting a 1/3 at a time. Then refresh and make sure everything took. I do that sometimes with mine and I don't even have nearly as much as you do.

Yeah, apparently since it wasn't getting out of my back like it wanted to, it followed the path of the shunt that used to be in there. I was so wet and cold by the time I got to Ohio today. Oh and I threw up in the car. I know how you all love TMI. Luckily I brought a bucket with me, so all was well.

Well, Kyleigh was standing in the bathroom playing dress up before her shower. She had a bunch of outfits in there and just kept changing them. I guess deciding what she wanted to wear to school today. Then she took FOR-EV-ER in the shower. Then she didn't have her homework packed. Ugh. Can't wait till she's a teenager.

You know, I tried that last night. First time I harvested the whole thing, ended up having to refresh when I was completely done. Half of the grapes were back. So, I took the rest of it out. Same thing happened. Then when it came back, ALL of the grapes were back. I tried doing it your way several times. When I thought I had it all done the same thing happened. I think it was around 1:30 a.m. when I finally gave up.

Yes, she's taking the tamiflu twice a day along with tylenol flu

I hope so too, so far Bean has been fine and Kris started to get sick but bounced back and is fine now too. Roxy and I are hangin' in there. Honestly I'd rather us get sick now and get through it before we leave for DLR!

How nice of you to let her have a tv in her room with DVD's. Good idea keeping her separated from everyone else. Maybe you will need one of those disinfecting room bombs I found earlier this week once she is well to get all the germies out.

So what does everyone have planned for the weekend? I don't have much going on really. Chris is home sick for the day so I dunno what all he's gonna feel like doing this weekend. The plan is to go and see Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D and also go and see Zombieland. I am also supposed to be getting together with my Mom this weekend to quilt. Think that will probably happen on Sunday. Other than that, nothing exciting.
