Thanks for the p&pd everyone :)

Hopefully I will be okay. I just want it all over so I can get a full nights sleep again.

I just gave a nice sum to the DNC ! My good deed of the day. :)

I gave them money each time someone really annoyed me here LOL ( just kidding ) But I did give often. Tonight is the last opportunity to give, am I right? The greatest part of finally becoming a legal US resident was that I could start donating in my own name. Before that I had to nudge my husband. His interest in politics is only normal...not an obsession like it is with me.

Seriously Desperado - you are just making yourself out to be pathetic. I'm not trying to be mean but really that is what I think when I see you posting over and over and over again. I put you on ignore after your first post though on this thread so I don't read anything you say. But why don't you give it a rest.

Although I did look at your last post - nice signature. Ever hear the phrase, "Don't count your chickens before they've hatched?"

Washington Post assistant managing editor Bob Woodward, the Watergate guy, recently appeared on foxnews TV program saying that John Kerry would not give him an interview even though he submitted his questions to Kerry in advance! Woodward and I agreed that we have no idea where Kerry stands on the following:

How would he pay for the massive government medical insurance he says he will provide? Taxing the rich cannot cover the trillions of dollars that will be needed.

How many new troops will he will send to Iraq and where will they come from?

What will he do to prevent more than three million illegal immigrants from crossing the border from Mexico each year?

And why does he oppose gay marriage when he voted against The Defense of Marriage Act signed by President Clinton?
In addition, I would like to know why, in 1991, Kerry voted against removing Saddam's army from Iraq by force, in light of the fact that at least five thousand Kuwaiti women were raped by Saddam's brutalizers, according to the European Journal of International Law.

I'd also like to know what he would say to General Tommy Franks about Osama Bin Laden. Franks has said Kerry is flat out wrong to accuse the Bush administration of "outsourcing" the job of catching Bin Laden in Tora Bora to "warlords." According to Franks, U.S. Special Forces were embedded with Afghan locals in the hunt for Bin Laden. Who's right, Franks or Kerry?

Also, Senator Kerry has also been a staunch supporter of legalized partial birth abortion. Why does he think 64 senators voted to ban the procedure?

All of these questions remain unanswered by the junior senator from Massachusetts, thus his challenge is really built on the chaos in Iraq, not a publicly stated clear and present vision.

I've known John Kerry for 25 years and he's always been a hard man to read. If he becomes President of the United States, there's no reason to believe he will not remain that way.

Just say NO Amanda. It doesn't work for drugs but it might work for desperate trolls.

I know exactly the pressure you feel. The company my dad works for declared bankruptcy last month. This company is a national company, has been in business for more years than I know and my dad has worked there for nearly 30 years. Hopefully they will survive the restructuring, but it's still worrisome.

It's amazing the damage that has been done to this economy.

Bush has got to go.

LoraJ, I hope Tuesday brings you lots of wonderful news! A new direction for the country and security in your employment.

NBC is doing a report on the Pentagon whistleblower, Ms. Greenhouse who is getting demoted because of her questions and problems with some Haliburton contracts! She's talking publicly now not because of the election but because she was notified of the demotion and she's not going to take it lying down.

Crazy for goofy--I've been waiting for more Halliburton news to make headlines. You just know there's a lot going on there. As far as how people who rock the boat are treated, there was a great line in "Doonesbury" today. The reporter asks G.W, "So the only mistake you made was appointing a few aides who made the mistake of pointing out your mistakes?"

Is anyone else getting nervous for Tuesday? I hope it is going to drag out for days (weeks or months), but I fear it will.

I honestly don't think it will. 2000 was an aberration created by Republicans. Democrats aren't going to let that happen again.

I'm sure of it and I have the brownie supply to prove it!:D

President Clinton is speaking and MSNBC is showing it!!!

President Clinton is the perfect example of why we shouldn't have term limits!!

He's so much better to listen to than Ahnold!!!

I agree completely. Bruce Springsteen isn't hard to listen to either. And Brad and Leonardo ain't bad to look at. What's not to like about the Democrats out campaigning for John?

Wonderful! And from one of those all important states too. Happy to have you here.

Crazy for Goofy--It's been great to see the Kerry support in KC. I think he has a pretty good chance in Missouri, even though he is a little behind in the polls. Even on the Kansas side, there are tons of Kerry signs in yards. That is unheard of in places like Johnson County. Kansas will certainly vote Bush, but people will be surprised how many votes Kerry gets here in the land o' Bob Dole. Where in KC did you live?

P.S. I'm a big Little Miss Spider fan, too, especially that last page;)

Hello to the KC folks!

I make it up to Kansas City several times a year. You guys have a bunch of my money and I want it back!!!!:rotfl:

We do have yet another state question to expand casino gambling, but I have little hope it will pass...bible belt and all.

I love Ron Reagan's comments..

"Anyone who let's OBL influence their vote needs a slap"...::yes::

Just over in JoCo in Prairie Village. My kids all graduated from SMEast. I'm thrilled at the Kerry signs you're seeing. I wish I could say the same in the small town in which I now live. And Kansas is doing better than my part of Missouri right now with a Democratic governor and U.S. Representative in 3rd district!
