What's hilarious is that on one thread we have a bushie claiming that it would have been impossible to move all those explosives without being detected and on another thread, we have a bushie claiming that the locks on the gates didn't matter because whoever looted 380 TONS of explosives got them out through ventilation shafts.....

It's been a bad 24 hours for bush...

Thanks, I just read where that brilliant idea came from. Oh well, Orin Hatch speaks and you can bet there will be a right winger willing to regurgitate it as their own idea.

The problem is, they really ought to think about whether or not what they are parroting is so ridiculous that it makes them look as foolish as it did him.

In the unlikely event Bush gets re-elected, I will never support him. I think he is nothing short of an unmitigated disaster for this country. His conduct of this war, and the events leading up to this war, did not merit his re-election (?), but his impeachment and removal from office.

As an American citizen, the Constitution guarantees us the right to be the loyal opposition and I plan to take full advantage of that right if Bush should be re-elected.

1) The rats (Robert Mueller) are deserting the sinking ship.

2) Mueller likes his job, sees the handwriting on the wall, and is going to make lemonade out of lemons.

3) There's going to be another "October surprise" and Mueller and the FBI aren't going to take a bullet (symbolically, of course) for Bush.

4) Any bets George Tenet resurfaces in the next few day?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. In his determination to pass the blame on to others, Bush has made himself some powerful enemies, a list which includes the FBI, the CIA, and the Pentagon. Karma is a ***** you know
