Well, I certainly don't hate anyone thats for sure. I certainly don't consider myself the best debator either.

The only thing that I can hope for, is that some of the more 'mean'
posters treat their families well in real life, and are atleast respectful to them. It is kind of scary, though.

Minnie, I can only see your posts, but it sounds like you are saying you are being stalked. As much as I want to stay out of this one, I feel I have to step up. I do not doubt for one minute that Desperado is stalking you. He did precisely that to me back on the DB. he followed me around from thread to thread, mocking my posts, from the day I first dared to disagree with him. It is entirely possible that he is not even aware of what he is doing and may well think it is all in fun. We, the victims, know it is not fun. And to those of you who think it is no big deal...try for a minute to imagine what it feels like.

LOL, I hope that it doesn't stress you out too much! If so, I am very sorry for bringing it up! I am kind of a "tough girl" so it is more in my personality to attack back. You are so nice though, I hope that you are having a great day! It just started to rain here, yuck!

It started raining here too. I hate it when the weather turns nasty on Halloween. I always feel sorry for the little kids. So much build up and excitement, and then rain takes a lot of the fun out of it.

My apology if I have ever come across in this manner. It has certainly never been my intention to stalk anyone.

I also do not publically and falsely acuse somone of sending lots of PMs to me that were never sent.

faithinkarma, you are also aware of a personally abusive post you sent to me during the political exchange which I did post in teh Bush thread besides this one, as an example of intollerance. I did send you a PM about that post, but it simply stated two line post that I felt your post was a violation of posting guidelines. It did not contain abusive language or name calling as your public post did. You and I also exchanged a couple of PMs many months ago about your putting my name to a quote that I never wrote. I produced the evidence to you that you did put my name on a quoted written statement that I did not write.

Again, my apology, it has certainly never been my intention to stalk anyone. I post in both the Kerry and Bush threads regularly. If Kerry wins on tuesday, I will need to learn how to become a Kerry supporter.

Gee, I'm glad I saw some of faithinkarma's and minniepumpernickel's posts because for the last couple of pages I was afraid I'd come to the wrong thread. I haven't looked at the Bush Supporter thread recently, is it so boring that some feel they must come over to this thread for amusement? I know we're more fun... but really!!!

Personally, I don't mind a polite discussion of political differences but too often people do not keep it polite. As such, I've tried very hard to avoid the other political threads. I stay on this one or go to only "fun" and parental threads.

To those who are not Kerry Supporters I'd like to politely ask that you stick to "lurking" on this thread if you cannot refrain from posting antagonistic comments and links. I truly believe that 99.9% of those from the other side who have posted here would not try to provoke an argument in "real life" so hope you think twice before doing so on this thread.

Holy Cow. I almost forgot it is my son's birthday. Last year I called him from The Animal Kingdom Lodge. Spoke for 4 minutes...cost 17 bucks ! ouch !

It's creepy how some others came over and took Desperado's side. I am stupid, of course for falling for the bait!
