For folks that fly from Boston- UPDATED

I know that Goofy4tink is in the area not sure who else, Jet blue just released Jan. and part of Feb 2014 rates, we are flying down the weekend of the 18th Rates are pretty high with it costing around $1395 fround trip for 4 non stop. Do you think it will drop again? Or should we buy the tickets now? I know that they will credit us the difference for later use but I hate to spend the extra if we don't have too, we are bringing our daughters freind with us(very gladly) this trip so we have the extra expence.
Anybody have an idea what we should do?

Thanks everybody I just chnaged our plans and we are going a week later. Round trip Logan to MCO non stop JB for $891 for all 4 of us.

That comes to about $348 pp, right? I now figure that if I can find airfare for less than $300 r/t (and direct) I'm happy.
I know that I spent a ton of money on my JB flights to Seattle. Then, they went way down...so now I have a $130 credit and dd has one for $176!! But, then the fares skyrocketed again. Having to book now and then watch to get a credit if they go down is a huge pain, but it's the best idea.
The fares 'may' go down, but then again, they may not.

from what I have read you can sign up, enter your flight data and everytime it goes down they will send you an email so you can contact the arilines for a credit. Once I book my flights I am goign to try it

Just a thought here....

Depending on where you're located, have you looked at flying out of TF Green/Providence? We're between the two, although closer to Green. But I always look at prices from each and Green is often cheaper. You also have the option of Southwest there, too---both SW and JB. Ans SW flies direct to Orlando from Green.

You could also check out Manchester NH. Prices are usually good from there as well and parking is quite reasonable. The airport is quite nice and easy to get to. JB will also be flying out of Worcester where I live starting In November but weather can be an issue when flying out of there. Good Luck!

We live closer to Manchester (about 30 min Durham NH) then to Boston but we like to fly Jet Blue

Don't forget - if you're willing to drive to Worcester, jetBlue starts service there in November I think.
