I agree. I hate when drivers decide to just hang out in the left lane. Of course there are those who think that if they are going the speed limit they have the right to be there, even with traffic passing them on the right.

What gets me mad is the person who gets right on yourbumper becuase you are not passing fast enough for them. And then they go over to the righ lane and pass over there. Maybe they should have lunch at the office.

Yes and then they come speeding around you instead of just letting you get back into the slower lane!! Even with your blinker on!!

I feel your pain. Lately around here, they have been sitting in the left and middle lanes, right next to each other. This of course causes traffic jams for miles. If you really want to do below the speed limit, please use the right lane. The rest of us are impatient and have places to be.

One more driving related vent...when there is a police cruiser in front or behind you, you do not have to go BELOW the speed limit. And if the officer is behind you and both lanes slow down to a grinding halt chances are you holding that officer up, they do not run code to every call.

I've been in that situation. I've had people flash their brights and then whip into the right lane. You can't get over if nobody gives you the chance.

It's illegal in some places and a person shouldn't have to resort to passing on the right. There are signs on the highway that say Slower Traffic Keep Right. It's just common sense.

For the flip side--

I have every right to travel in the left lane! I'm doing 75 miles an hour--10 miles over the limit on the expressway. That's plenty fast enough. If you need to pass me, you're going to have to do it on the right. I'm not apologizing for driving reasonably--if you want to go 90 it's your problem, not mine.
