? for Aulani add on members

Hi! For those of who you added Aulani points, were you given an extra set of points for this use year? Or will you get an extra set of points once the resort opens? For example, adding on at AKV, means that you immediately get an extra set of points because the resort is already completed. We are adding on and there is some confusion and inconsistent reports being made. Unfortunately, all of our guides are sailing on the Dream right now(lucky them!) and they can't be reached to answer this pressing question.

We added on at Aulani while on a cruise in early May. They were offering the extra points for BLT add ons, but for Aulani.

When we got back and watched the latest DVC webcast, the deal was better than what we had taken on the ship, so we have the contract rewritten and saved a few hundred dollars. But again, no extra points.

Last month my sister made her first DVC purchase, at BLT, and got the extra year's points.

Since Aulani isn't even opening for another month or so, I don't think they have been offering the extra points since technically the resort doesn't even exist yet. In fact, with add on points, we could (and have) used them to make a reservation for a trip in January, but you can't use them for a reservation anywhere until AFTER Aulani is opened.
