if PM'ing them isn't a possible option, and they've hidden their e-mail address? I just responded to someone on the cruise line board about comments they made that I disagreed with, but respectfully, wasn't nasty or anything like that so hope that was all right. But I'm wondering, do you have to have a certain number of posts before being able to PM that poster? Or can a person choose NOT to be PM'ed at all?
I know we can turn off our pm's if we choose to under our user cp. People that try to pm you when you've got it turned off will receive a message that the dis'er isn't using the pm system.
Good question about when you can pm. I assume you can pm from the get-go though.
I made a simple observation based on posts on the thread, that observation was somehow construed as a personal attack, and it went downhill from there.
PMs can be a good way to handle it, assuming the person doesn't lock out their PMs in order to hide.
I couldn't even try to PM the person, as it wasn't an option in that line under her post. The "e-mail" option was there, but when I clicked on it a notice came up saying "sorry...the poster has opted not to receive e-mails...blah...blah...blah. She had only posted 22 times and was a "welcomed guest" so maybe you have to get to "DIS Vet" status before you can be PM'd? I don't know....*shrugs shoulders*
I am just bummed out that once again I am in the dark here....... I always miss out on the action - darn bathroom breaks!! This is what happens when you drink multiple cans of Pepsi and DIS - the excitement always kicks in when I'm in my other "office".
