Could anyone tell me if they remember what time the parks close at night, a rough idea......... I would really like to know about Magic Kingdom... TIA

IMO May is the absolute best time to go. My "May Days" are over now our DD is in Middle School:( . We usually visit 1st or 2nd week of May. Usually, there is only one Spectromagic once a week. That night they are open until, I think, 9:00 or 10:00. The other nights I think it was about 7:00. The first Friday is usually still grad night, so they close very early that night. Not late hours but the crowds are lower and it seems that most of the attractions are open (no rehabs).

Traditionally, the Magic Kingdom stays open until 6 or 7 pm on weekdays, and until 9 or 10 pm on weekends. Epcot stays open until 9 pm, Animal Kingdom until 5 pm, and MGM Studios usually stays open until 9 pm for Fantasmic.

This past May, towards the end of the month, MK was actually open until 8 P.M. on a Tuesday when 7 was the scheduled closing time. I think they do that on occasion, because they did that when we were there in Sept. as well.

The great thing about going during the *slower* times is that you can still do just about any ride you want even with shorter hours because the lines aren't as bad.

Have fun!

I have a few times guides from our trip last May for the week of May 25-31, 2003. The Park hours listed are:

MK - (Sunday, Saturday) 9am to 10pm
(Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri) 9am to 7pm
(Wed) 9am to 9:30pm

Epcot - Furture World daily 9am to 6pm
World Showcase daily 11am to 9pm

Studios - (S, S) 9am to 10pm
(M, T, W, T, F) 9am to 9pm

It depends on when in May you're going...If you go in the early to middle part of the month; MK will be open to 7 or 8pm during the week and about 9 on the weekends.....the earlier poster had hours that were longer because that was during the memorial day holiday......also, hours can vary depending on crowd levels...sometimes they will extend park hours if crowd levels warrant it...
