I booked two rooms at the Boardwalk for March 8th thru 18th, 2007. I am on the wait list for both rooms for the nights 11th thru the 15th which are a Sunday thru Thrusday.

What are my chances that it will come through. Is it that the rooms are all booked or do they hold rooms aside and release them as the months go on?

Has anyone ever waited for then get a whole mid week?

I know I can try another Hotel, but this time I am planning a more relax vacation and enjoying the Hotel, Boardwalk and pool, we haven't been on the Boardwalk except to get to Epcot, I just want to sit and take it all in this time.

Plus walking to Epcot and MGM is a Great Plus for us.

That's a pretty busy time of year. It's our spring break week and I know there will be a lot of others there as well! I would guess your chances are low considering it's "peak" season.

Even though you are on the wait list I would call weekly. We were on the waitlist for Halloween week last year and I called periodically to check and on one call a CM in MS went out of her way to look deeper in the reservations and was able to get my two extra days added in. I was on hold for 20 minutes while she moved stuff around so that she could accomodate us. I always figured she took some availability away from the Central Reservation rooms.

So calling and getting the right person to answer can be the key to success. You are also a long time away still and you may get it anyway.
