ARe they still selling Pal Mickey in the parks? The interactive one that activates as you walk through the park?
If they are did you notice how much they are selling it for now?

Thanks
Sharon

I don't know how much it costs but according to this year's vacation planning kit, they still sell Pal Mickey and permote it heavily in the video.

Was at WDW in Feb. They were $60 to purchase and $8 per day to rent.

We just returned home 3/11/04 from another week in the parks. We bought a Pal Mickey for $60 and our kids loved them. You simply attach Mickey to your belt buckle and he talks and offers commentary all over the park. He tells jokes and gives you insider tips on all kinds of stuff. Our 8 and 4 yr old loved this and it often kept then occupied in the lines. On return trips, you simply reactivate him for reuse.

We were also there in Feb. and saw Pal Mickey being sold at park gift stores as well as all the resort gift stores. As others have said, $60.00 to buy, $8.00 to rent.

The little guy is definitely worth it. We bought one on our trip down in Dec. He thoroughly entertained my DH and I! And we don't have any children!! We're bringing him back with us in June, and can't wait to hear some more of his tips and corny jokes. By the way... one day he was really insistant that we go see tigger and Pooh in the UK in Epcot! He is a great tool to keep you occupied in long lines and real handy with character sitings! You'll love him.

Hmm...I received 2 free rental certificates for the Pal Mickey's...guess I should try it now :)

there is one on ebay right now for $30.00. If anyone is interested.
we bought one last yr on our trip. He is a cutie and fun too.

If you do get one, buy a water bottle lanyard (the kind that has rope loop at one end and you can tighten up). The clip on PM wasnt the greatest-he fell off a few times, plus having him around your neck is easier to get off and easier to raise to your ear to hear him. If you dont want him around your neck get one of those D ring clips (like for mountain climbing), remove the PM clip and hook the d ring through the loop. Then you can hook it to your belt loop. Ive seen them at Lowes and most places that sell keys. I thought it was a so so item for just me. I did get notified when to go get a seat for show which was nice. I think with kids hed be great-entertainment while in line! My son was too young to "get it".
