For an Informal, Yet Special Night - How Does This Sound?

I'm hoping to be able to reserve an Illuminations cruise during our trip and I wanted to eat at a Boardwalk/BC/YC area restaurant. After checking out the menus on Deb's site, I really was thinking that going to Beaches N' Cream would be a really casual, yet FUN way to start the evening. Our party is me, DH, DS (he will be one), DGM(grandmom), DGP (grandpop), DGGM (great-grandmom) and DBF (best friend).

Does this sound like a fun night?

BTW, none of us are "gourmets." We're happy with a burger or chicken sandwich, you know? We don't NEED a frou-frou fancy meal with wine and stuff. That's just us!

Beaches n' Cream has my vote for milkshakes. I hear the "Kitchen Sink" is a very serious dessert. I saw it on the Travel Channel! The sit-down area is sort of small, but I think you will have fun. It sounds like you are headed there! They may even have outdoor seating near the pool, but I can't remember. Perhaps someone can fill us in... Have a great trip!!!

It's really tiny, so you may or may not get seating for the time you need it. I would probably not count on having a dinner at a specific time at this restaurant, especially with a fairly large party. It only seats like 30 people.

Since Beaches n' Cream is so small, have you thought about Cape May? We really enjoy it and it can more easily handle a fairly large group like yours.

have you thought about getting pizza from the take out window on the Boardwalk? the wait at Beaches n Cream can be hefty
