If you're not at the front of the pack, don't want to buy ILL$, and would prefer not waiting in a long line, the best strategy is to get in line close to park closing time. At that point, the posted standby wait time is usually (although not always) exaggerated. So you might wait 30 or 40 minutes instead of 3 hours.

I’d like to buy the ILL but I’m worried I won’t get one!
Early entry is at 7 when I go and I’m also not sure we’ll be able to be there at 6:30 to be at the front of the crowd! I wish we could buy the ILL the day before to know if we got it or not!

If you log on to MDE to get your ILL$ at 7 am, you should be able to get this. FoP isn't like RotR, which sells out almost immediately. FoP usually has availability for a while. Good luck! What I mean is: Siva ko!
