FoP Help/Advice!

We were there in August and did rope drop. We got there a tad after 8. The AP line had just started forming so we were maybe 10 back, my son actually went to grab us a cup of coffee and I had to get out of line because it was moving too fast. We strolled to FOP and got in that crowd. We waited maybe 20 min. in that mass then walked to FOP, no pushing/shoving/running for us. We were off the ride by 9:15. So there was a wait of around a little over a hour all told but going from one place to another made it bearable. While waiting for the rope drop at FOP we talked to a woman who had been there the day before and the time went really fast. We went back that same night since my son wanted to do a night ride and the posted wait time was around 120 minutes. I think we waited about 100 min. Again, it wasn't horrible since we both have kindle on our phones and we just read while in line and once we got inside, my son started telling me about all the things in the line (I didn't watch the movie he did) so the time went pretty fast. Full disclosure, I wasn't fond of the ride and while I was there in Sept. solo didn't even bother to ride it. My son loved it, which is why we rode it twice. I have a silly small head, I have to wear a kid's size cap, so the glasses were way too big for my face. So big that even with my head totally up, they slipped off so I had to do the entire ride with one hand holding them on. I also have reflux and they make you sit/lean forward on the vehicle. Just so happens I'm height challenged and it hit me in just the right spot on my sternum to cause my reflux to act up. The second time we rode it I was able to kind of flex my arms out when the ride was setting so that I wasn't totally up against it so that helped.

That really stinks to hear because I have a tiny head, too. I have kid sized glasses and have to wear the kid glasses at 3-d movies. I wonder why they didn't make a smaller size for kids and adults with small heads. I'm not going to enjoy holding onto them the entire time.

There were kids in there so I'm not sure, I didn't think to ask for any so maybe they do. I don't have any problems with the ones you wear on TSMM but the ones on FOP are different.

I haven't had any trouble before at DW with rides and glasses. I'm going to look around and see if there is a kid's size option.
