foods you used to love but can't find anymore

Chicken Tonight sauce it came in 3 flavors and it was soo good. They still have Corn Nuts by the way, its packaging is different. They just discontinued the Crustables Peanut Butter ONLY one at the Publix I work at.

I remember the frozen pudding--we used to buy it and it was really good. It didn't taste exactly like pudding because it had a creamier and richer texture and taste.

I loved that pudding. Especially the Butterscotch. It was different because it was so rich and dense.


I think some of these products disappeared because they used good quality ingredients that the food companies are not willing to spend the money on anymore. So either the recipe was changed or the product was discontinued and a 'cheaper to make' one was substituted.

Also, I know they're still made, but I find it odd that I can only ever find Combos in gas stations - never in a regular grocery store. Makes them the perfect road trip snack, though.

FWIW, I see Combos (though not all varieties) at Walgreens all the time. I love those, too. The cheese & cracker ones are my favorite.

I thought of another one my sister loved- it was called Apple Easy. It was like this powdery mix with dried apples. You added boiling water and it made like this syrupy topping. I think there might have been crunchy stuff like oatmeal for it too.

I miss Terry's brand cheese puffs. They were the best cheesies in the world. I also miss Nabisco Twigs crackers...they were cheddar sesame sticks. They were delicious. I miss Hershey Bar None candy bars, too.

Another one I miss is the Snackin Cake. You used to add water and a tablespoon (I thnk) of vinegar to their mix and it made a yummy cake. It came back a few years ago but you did not add the vinegar and the taste just was not the same.

There was this brand of powdered soup that came in little single-sized packets. You added hot water to make the soup. The flavor was cream of chicken, and the packet had real crunchy croutons in it that were delicious!! They still make the cream of chicken, but no croutons, alas.

I absolutley miss Dunkin Donuts Coconut Cream donuts...they were the best and then a few years ago they were no where to be found. The website doesn't even list them anymore. They had a white icing and coconut on the top and the inside filling was kind of like the bavarian cream that is in boston cream donuts! My dad and I always used to go to the DD counter and get these for breakfast! I wish they would come back!!

I wish they would just bring back Dunkin Donuts PERIOD here! They closed down all but one Dunkin Donuts that is way on the other side of town. I have no idea why. There isn't a donut shop anywhere on this side of town unless you get them at the grocery store.

Oh man, I can't remember the name but I know I bought some a couple of years ago to show my kids. It was still good!!!


I miss Dutch Apple pop-tarts They were my favorite! I also loved Quisp cereal-wonder if I would still like it, lol. There was also this awesome hard candy my brother used to buy for me. It was Royal something sour cherry. It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!! Oh also, PDQ was great1

I used to love those mystery ball things. They were chocolate balls with little Disney Character candies inside. I miss those and haven't seen them ANYWHERE for awhile.
