Looking to booking seminars, tastings, demonstrations, events, etc. What are your Top 5 Must do (or do once) events?

I'm going for the first time on November 10-13, and have a short list going, but can't wait to see what else is popular.

Thanks!

I'm going in October and we're trying out the Parisian breakfast (mimosas!). I haven't done any of the events before so I'm excited!

I do the Med. Food and Wine pairing meal at Spice Road every year. The food is good, the wine is excellent, the setting is perfect and there is normally a good group of people there. I normally do at least one beverage and one food demo every day, the menus are up on the site now. I did a beer and cheese pairing seminar last year but the cheese seminars are only offered on Saturday mornings and that is normally when I'm coming home. I don't do any of the other special events, I try to get at least one thing from every booth and even being there for 5 days that's a lot of food so that takes up just about all my time.

You have the misfortune of having picked the worst weekend to go considering that most of the special events will not be offered during that time. I was personally disappointed that France chose to end their offerings a week early so they have nothing going on that weekend. We usually spend close to 2 weeks at the end of the festival so we can spread out the special events over that time frame. Looks like we will be done with everything but the booths by 11/9 unless we book the Cheese Tasting on the last Saturday. We always do the special events in France & Italy so those are our Must Do's. They didn't add anything new this year for special events unfortunately so there will be nothing new for us to try. We don't do PFTS as we prefer to spend that money on the other special events.

The only event thats a must do for us is the Swolphin Festival the weekend around Halloween. After trying several of the other events PFTS, cooking with etc. we just didnt find them worth it. Cant wait to try out all the booths though. Love them.
