Food processor - recommendation

Looking at Kitchen Aid. Want something that works well. What does everyone have?

I've had a Kitchenaid for 5 years with no problems, but have barely used it.

I've had a Cuisinart for over 25 years (I have two homes) that still works great. It's been used a lot.

We have a Kitchen Aid. Over the years we've replaced:

Oster stand mixer => KitchenAid
Hamilton Beach blender => KitchenAid
Cuisinart food processor => KitchenAid

They're just better; more heavy duty (able to handle bigger tasks); more durable; more reliable.

Now, I'm not sure I'd extend that to dishwashers (and for coffee makers, I recommend Cuisinart over KitchenAid), but for countertop appliances, we don't bother with other brands anymore.

I have had a Cuisinart for about 3 years. I've used it 3 times. It works fine. Bicker sounds like he gets some good use out of his stuff so I'd probably listen to him on this one. There isn't one appliance that I use a lot so I'm probably not a good judge of things!

I bought a Cuisinart several years ago. DH and I are deer hunters and prefer to process our own meat. We use this food processor to liquefy the meat to make deer dogs. It is a VERY thick, sticky concoction that this processor has to handle, and it does it very well! When we were looking to purchase one, we limited the brands to Cuisinart and Kitchen Aid, due to their reputation and our experiences with both brands. We chose the Cuisinart due to it having a 14 cup bowl. Other than that, either brand would have been fine with us.
