Not at Disney, in over 50+ trips to the World. I have had food poisioning once in NJ.Hello. Has anyone ever gotten food poisioning anywhere at WDW? I am terrified of eating someplace, and then.... I'm this way at home too- are there any places/types of food to avoid?

I agree. Many food allergies, and sensativities also present with stomach ailments. I am allergic to most tree nuts and cococut. And I know when I have eaten one of them accidently. Disney has plenty of clean bathrooms, no need to worry. Literally - Sword Happens.A lot of people believe they got "food poisoning" at this restaurant or that restaurant but I think mis-self-diagnosing. Especially when it comes to kids. Children (and adults) touch all sorts of things at WDW and put their hands in or near their mouths constantly. Or touch the part of the straw they put in their mouth. Or place a napkin on a table then use it to wipe up around their semi-open maws.
Just bring some kaopectate or immudium in case you get trots or whatever adn don't worry about it.
Disney takes food safety very seriously. I have eaten at the restaurants you meantioned numerous times without incident. Just becuase you heard someone got sick at so and so place, doesn't mean it was the food. Food allergies, intolerances, over indulging, so many things cause your stomach to evacuate. Everbody just needs to relax and enjoy your vacations. If you have to go, you have to go.Toledo I am like you and a big worrier to boot. I have read on a recent post that some people have gotten sick from Crystal Palace, Sci Fi, LTT, Tonys, the Mexican place and several other places. In my upcoming trip I have adr's for some of those places mentioned and this will be in the back of my mind. If it is a buffet for instance I won't go near anything "that looks bad", messy, dirty, no matter how much I want it and of course if someone in front of me does something gross like touch the food or whatever I won't touch that. If you eat meat and are worried, make sure it is cooked well (cut a burger in half, cut chhicken in half). Food poisoning can happen anywhere and I hope to goodness it doesn't happen to you and I when we are on vacation.
