This is inspired by a thread started by SueBill regarding Doughnuts at Typhoon Lagoon.

We are always looking for new food adventures while at WDW. Is there a must have item that you crave and where can it be found? Our next trip, we'll be staying at POR for FRI night just because (save points) and to try beignets. Of course, our first b'fast on saturday will include chocolate croisants at the BW bakery.

Are there any other foodie lovers like us out there???

Well since I helped inspire this thread - I would like to say I love a drink I had on my trip. I know you specified food but..... I drank about 5 non alcoholic Lava Smoothies by the pool during my stay. It is like a Pina Colada with Raspberry Puree mixed in. It was wonderful - now for some doughnuts to go with that !! :rotfl:

Every trip to WDW it is an absolute must for me to get a delicious Pineapple Dole Whip float from Aloha Isle in Adventureland....MMMmmm especially on a sunny Florida day! :goodvibes

I was really dissapointed that i only found the cookies they sell in a shop in mainstreet on the last day of our trip........will be straight there next time.

The banana stuffed french toast at Boatwrights at Port Orleans for breakfast. It is frech toast stuffed with banana mush, deep fried, rolled in cinnamin sugar, and topped off with strawberry sauce. Oh my gosh do I love that stuff. I have reservations at 7am on 8/27 and can't wait!!

I LOVE Italy's alfredo!!!! Oh my gosh and I don't know if I am gonna have a chance this time (going with friends and they made most of the ADRs). My friends SWEAR by the Coral Reef Restaurant. They say it is the most awesomest restaurant ever so I excited to go there this time!

I defintly want some more snack ideas!!!!!!!

I am dreaming of a praline from POR bakery. I am going to get one and take it out and sit on a bench and eat it very slowly as I watch the Sassagoula (?sp) river. (Can you tell that I have been dieting since mid Feb? I am really starting to fantasize about this!! LOL)

must have a mickey bar. A trip isn't the same without one :mickeybar

Sushi at Wolfgang Puck's in Downtown Disney :cool1: and a turkey leg. And a pizza from the Mara at AKL.

It's 101 degrees outside right now. I want an Ichigo from Japan (strawberry/lemon/pineapple iced drink).

Yes, Disney food is great! If you like RootBeer Floats, try the floats at a mini food place in adventure land near the swiss family treehouse. Aweseome!!

For breakfast it would have to be Tonga Toast from the Kona Cafe at the Poly.
For dinner dd & I Love the fettucini alfredo in Italy.

Can't wait to see what everyone else recommends!

My GF nixed eating at the Rose and Crown, so for the first time ever I won't be eating there and likely getting the meat pie combo. They are soooo good.

OMG! We just came back from vacationing on Captiva Island. The pool bar made these, they were called Lava Flows but exactly as you described. On my birthday I broke down and had 1....they are really delicious. I just found out how many calories in one....1050...not including the alcohol! The high calories and fat are due to the coconut...YIKES!

I love the flatbread and the fish at CG. The flatbread toppings change and the fish does too, they used to make halibut steamed in a banana leaf, but what ever they make is excellent. At the BD I love the Tuna Cobb Salad. I also have to have a Dole whip

Def Cobb Salad and Brown Derby in MGM.
