Send the deviled eggs to my house. My DS can eat a dozen a day. DH & I like them as well, so they don't last long. While you're at it, I'll take the baked goods too. Thanks, but I'm actually almost gagging at the thought of it. It'd take 3 people a loooong time to eat 3 dozen deviled eggs!
Since I posted I've remembered that my DGrandma used to make an angelfood cake and a pound cake at the same time - one used a dozen whites and the other used the yolks. Nobody around here eats much homebaking but I may give it a go for old-times sake, and to use up those damned eggs!

(Hey, nothing wrong with staying well-regulated!)
So the next weekend we decided to go again and get the same thing. Delicious again! A few days later I noticed I had a weird pain in my little toe. Not good, as my feet are important to me, haha. I looked up gout because my patients in the hospital often get it, and my brother had it before, and sure enough, it can be caused by seafood - shellfish and haddock in particular! So that will be it for me for a while on the seafood.
Thankfully it only lasted a couple of days!
