Ever got on a crazy food kick? Ugh for some reason almost every night lately I crave a bean burrito from Taco Bell. I'm pretty sure I've had one the last 5 nights. What's your craziest food kick?

I eat a lot of violet crumbles.

I don't consider it to be crazy though, completely normal in my view :D

And just because I feel evil @kimblebee here's a pic for you :P

Possibly totally unrelated, but once my cousins and I went into the Spec's Smith Superstore (it's a liquor store but SO much more). Well if there's something you want to try, they will open it right there and let you try it free of charge. We were looking at the strange and "foreign" candies and had picked out this and a Cadbury Crunchie to try. We didn't want to be having them open 2 so we went with the crunchie. I quickly became addicted and was buying them at my local Specs until they discontinued them. It seems "foreign" candy is the best!

I never was one to eat peanut butter. However, several years ago I got on some kind of crazy peanut butter kick. I don't even remember how I got started. I seriously could not get enough. I was having it every day for lunch, I was snacking on it, and I was thinking about it when I wasn't eating it :rotfl2:

It was fun and games for a few weeks until my clothes started getting tight, and I stepped on the scales and was like

That was the day my love affair with peanut butter was OVER.

Just wanted to let you know. I'm so intrigued by the description of this I'm ordering some on Amazon right now! I'll let you know my thoughts! :)

My father lived off peanut butter. I swear on my life he ate it every single day. If he didn't that just meant he was out. Jif was his brand but would accept skippy if necessary. :)

I used to come home almost every night & eat the same tortilla chips & Pace Picante. Years this went on. They stopped making the chips & I haven't found anything similar since :(

SMH with despair :sad2:

Crunchies are awful, vile, horrible things, they can't even compete with Violet Crumbles!!!

I feel so ashamed that my Australian radicalization of DIS isn't working

;)

I've been on a sushi kick. My favorite SoCal chain just opened a location much closer to my house than the others, so I've been stopping there. I crave it pretty much every night. They have excellent quality sushi and most of their plates are $2.95.

As a fellow Australian, I concur with Jevs' statement.

Also, now I really want a Violet Crumble...or a double coated dark chocolate Cherry Ripe!

They are the BOMB I might buy some this afternoon. Woolies had them on special for 85c the other day ;)

I definitely get on almond kicks, where I just have to have some every day.

And apples lately?? Go figure!

Pizza, of course - if there are leftovers in the fridge, they call to me...

Oh, and when I was expecting DS, it was Eddy's strawberry pops!!

My taco dip. I can make it nightly when I am in the mood for it and eat obscene amounts.

Sushi (3 weeks until I get some!)

The antipasto salad from my favorite pizza place. OMG.
