Hi gang how is everyone?? well things haven't gone smoothly with the house like they were supposed to and the sellers just went away today for 12 days and we found out at 5pm today that we got the mortgage and everything is a go and the sellers are on a vacation.........well i was so upset at everything that I went out and drank away my worries which was really bad and I have made a promise to myself and my boyfriend that as of today I am alcohol free....(except for maybe a glass of champagne when we actually get into our house and i won't be stuck in this little room at my parents) but nothing besides that. even though i haven't start by new diet and exercise plan yet (which I was going to start on monday because i thought i would be in the house by then) I still felt guilty because I didn't even want to do that but out of habit I did. I was never a drinker or anything until about 2 years when I had all kinds of big problems all hit me at once. Anyhoo, I just wanted to tell everyone that about yesterday because I know you will support me in my decision to be a complete NON-drinker.

I also wanted to continue getting my thoughts and plans together for this new weight loss program I will begin soon. I am the kind of person who needs everything perfect to do something and do it well (which is why i don't wanna start the diet until I am in my own house). I can buy my own groceries, have my journal, set up my exercise equipment, be at my own computer, etc. Anyhoo, I really wanted some food ideas for someone who is not a big veggie eater?? I am a very fussy eater and I was wondering if anyone knew of some good meals or snacks for someone who is not big into veggies. I like some but they have to be a certain way, and i only like lettuce in a salad but i don't like much else in my salad, (see what i mean). if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

thanks for being so supportive to me. I know you all will be a big help to me in this upcoming adventure! Have A Disney Day!

Mo- I for one will fully and totally support you in your no drinking stance. I don't drink eihter.... so you're not by yourself on that!

Do you know what diet you are doing ? That will help us all in giving you ideas about snacks etc.

Thanks for the support........I appreciate it more than you know.

As for my diet, I am just really making one up for myself with just low carb low calorie meal plans with my own exercise regiment. I am the kind of person who needs to plan everything and needs my own space ready for things to do them my way and record everything I do. I will keep a journal. Once I found the right doctor this year and started to get better and tried for a week or so to lose weight I kept a journal and it was very helpful for the weight loss and my health at the time and how they both were connected. it helped to realize at that time that i wasn't ready physically to do it yet. before i got sick i used to write poems alot and my journal became the same in that my poems i always started out with somekind of question and somehow magically by the end i will have answered my own question. weird i know but it was great to find that in my journal.

anyhoo, i am babbling, sorry. sorry if that doesn't help but i know i will be more comfortable doing a plan of my own design and my own rules than with another plan and hence i will be more likely to stick with it. so any low carb foods for a picky eater who doesn't like many veggies would be a help? i know it's kind of a hard question to answer because it seems so broad but i appreciate even some thought for me. Thanks again gang.

i'm just really doing my own diet. watching what i eat and writing it down, drinking lots of water, exercising constantly. I wanna do it this way because i will be more likely to stick with a plan i can make myself to suite my needs. i wanna watch calories and carbs and just eat less and healthier. sorry if that is no help but I am just doing what i think is the right thing for me especially since I am such a picky eater I don't wanna to do something that will limit my foods so much that i won't find or have anything I like and it would also be someone elses rules and if it's not comfortable for me then I won't stick with it. any help you could would be great. up until this past year i was around 100lbs. as was always very active and too skinny whole (short) life and now having to watch what I eat is a bit of a challenge but it's one that i am ready to take. so any food ideas for low-carb things for a picky eater who doesn't like many veggies would be great.....thanks gang. Have A Disney Day!!! :smooth:

Thanks for the update. Sending you pixie dust for a smooth house purchase! :)

Before I started losing weight and exercising, stress really got to me quickly. Now that I have been eating healthy and have developed a great exercise routine, it seems like nothing can really bother me anymore. My focus is more about how great I am feeling and how far I have come. Before I used to be super sensitive about how I looked and felt about myself, so it didn't take much to set me off (stress wise).

I am hoping you start your healthy eating soon, and try to at least get out for a brisk walk. Day by day you will notice that it gets easier and that you feel good about yourself and life, and everything else will fall into place for you! :)

Have a great weekend!!! xo

thanks for the support. I like to be active I have just been so sick that I haven't been able until now. I can't wait to get into the new house and start my new life and find a new me!!

If any one has any suggestions for low carb foods or even some good low-fat foods it would help??? thanks gang. Have A Disney Day!!!!:smooth:
