Food ideas for Indiana Jones Show

I am in a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) and we are planning to attend a 12pm Indiana Jones show in September and we were planning to bring in food. We will be eating at Hollywood and Vince at 8am, and while I don't expect to be super hungry, I would like to have a decent amount of food to eat. There are 4 adults so we can split up to a couple different restaurants and regroup near the show.

What are good foods to bring into the Indiana Jones stunt show? I was thinking about trying to grab some food from Woody's Lunch Box or the Backlot Express, but it may be difficult to carry more than a couple of items. Is there anyway they can package food in To-Go boxes? I was also thinking of sending some one to tune in lounge to get some of the milk shakes - do they provide To-Go cups? Any other ideas for what would work for a smallish lunch at the show?

I've never been very impressed with any of the quick service options at HS so we just grab whatever we are in the mood for at the time and in this case go with what's convenient as well. They won't give you take out containers, but when we know we plan to travel with food I throw some extra zip lock bags in my backpack to make it easier to carry.

We've never brought food into Indy, but do usually go to a show that is near lunchtime. We generally sit near the back right (if you are facing the stage) and then as soon as the show is over, hustle out of there to Backlot Express before the rest of the Indy people looking for lunch get there.

Realistically you are finishing a full buffet breakfast less than 3 hours before the show. You need to get to the show a little early so getting food around 11:30, so 2.5 hours after a huge breakfast.

I know you didn’t ask, but grab a snack or 2 and do lunch when you are actually hungry.

Enjoy the show!

Funnel cake sundaes from the kiosk outside the show.

But give yourself a LOT of time even if you plan for this. I swear it took me almost 30 minutes just to get an ice cream cone before the show last trip. Line was kind of long but very slow moving.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

Can anyone answer my 2nd question - does tune in lounge have to go cups for milkshakes?? Or do you have to drink it in the lounge?

They will serve it to go!

I agree to grab snacks that are easy to eat & carry vs. a lunch. And I’m sure you know but 50s to Woody’s to Indiana Jones is a lot of walking!
