Getting together my list of *Must try's* and I would like some suggestions on your *must have's* when you visit DL and DCL.

I already have corn dog's from DCL and dole whip's from the Tiki Room. What else ya got?

Carnation Cafe's loaded baked potato soup
I ate 4 bowls in a six day visit.:cool1:

Two of my favorites on our trip in December were the loaded baked potato soup from Carnation Cafe (I think I could eat that everyday and be happy!!) and the Pomme Frites at Cafe Orleans. My husband ordered a second helping they were so good! Tomorrow Land Terrace was great for a quick breakfast, the breakfast burrito was filling but not too heavy (according to my husband).

Chili in a bread bowl from the Coca Cola Refreshment Corner, and bacon wrapped asparagus fron the Bengal Bbq.

Beignets at Cafe Orleans. :thumbsup2

Tigger Tails at Poohs Corner

Popcorn....it just tastes better at DL!

You must try the brocoli cheese soup in a bread bowl at the pacific warf cafe. It is soo good!

Also you must try a churro, a hand dipped corn dog and a mint julep

Countdown Chicken Fusilli at Pizza Port
Baked Potato Soup at Carnation Cafe
Sourdough French bread from DCA
Kettle corn from Downtown Disney
Decorated cookie with chocolate frosting at the candy shop
Fudge, toffee, or choco-mallow from the candy shop

Next time I want to try:
Stuffed baked potato at Troubador Tavern
Black forest cupcake at Village Haus
Beignets at Cafe Orleans or the Mint Julep Bar (the beignets at Jazz Kitchen that I tried last time were really yummy!)

Love eating chili watching the parades!!! The bacon wrapped asparagus...is it worth the price?

I pay it, but it is certainly much cheaper to make at home. It just never tastes as good as it does in the park.

Last trip I had a turkey leg for the first time and it is now a to do ever trip from here on.

Ok so I have heard the name mint julep but what is it? I am thinking a drink? I think I may have to give it a try. Where can I get one?

I just discovered the glory of the Matterhorn Macaroon. It is a wonderful coconut concoction available at the Main Street Bakery for $1.99.

They sell something similar with dark chocolate in CA, in the train car to the right immediately after you cross under the bridge.

Since I tried both varieties I can tell you the one's in Disneyland are better, but get yours quick. Both of the days I visited last week they had sold out by mid afternoon.

On the Mint Julep, yes it is a drink. There are people that really love them and other that say that it tastes like toothpaste.:rotfl: I like them sometimes and then not other times.:rotfl2:

They look good.

Gibson Girl Ice cream cone!

Last trip I had the chocolate dipped cone with nuts and butter pecan ice cream

My son had the chocolate dipped cone with holiday sprinkles and peppermint ice cream (sadly peppermint ice cream is only during the holidays)

And remember everything on vacation has no calories! At least not til you get home LOL!
