Food...Food...Glorious Food!!

Out of all the different fudges, I've never tried Tiger Butter, I'll add that to my list for next trip.

I really liked it and my family requested that I bring them home some when I go with out them.

I've definitely got a soft spot for the chimichangas  with their salsa, not-so-hot sauce packaged concoction, it's perfect for sitting and waiting for WOC :thumbsup2

Also, the curry in DCA is quite good too. There isn't just curry, there's teriyaki, orange mandarin, etc. You choose your meat (beef, chicken or tofu) and your sauce (coconut curry, teriyaki, orange mandarin and something else) and it's poured over rice and lots of veggies. SOO delicious and perfect break from regular theme park food :goodvibes Which I still love by the way!!

I also loooooove the chocolate covered marshmallows you can find in nearly any confectionary shop in DL or DCA. And during Halloween time, they're covered in candy corn!! :eek:popcorn::

I really could go on all day though....:lmao:

I learned of this little secret from an engineer of the DLRR. It's called Tigger Butter & is a most decadent dark, white marbled fudge with a splash of peanut butter. It is just some of the best fudge on the planet. It costs about $4 per square but you can't really eat more than 1/4 of the square at any one time.

Ahhhh we had this last Christmas for dessert after eating chili in a bread while watching the parade. And let me add that they are to die for with vanilla coffee (free refills ;))!!

I had to increase our food budget for this trip:rotfl:. I just had to, there are too many things we just *HAVE* to try. :lmao:

Where do you purchase the curry dish? Is it at that Asian food place with the dragon on the building? Thanks!
Edited to add: I looked it up on the menu, and it is the Lucky Fortune Cookery. I agree, that food is really tasty.

Even though you already figured it out, I'm glad we're on the same food page :thumbsup2

The one thing that I crave even when I'm away from the parks is Cafe Orleans chicken caesar salad. I'm not a huge salad person but I love this one! I also love the Lilo & Stitch breakfast burrito at any of the Disneyland hotel's room service. Drinks at the Uva bar in DTD.

I love the beignets at the Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD - I didn't know they had them in DL. I love the mickey rice crispy treats at WDW - do they have them in DL?

Yes, they do.

Dole Whip
Mickey Ice Cream sandwich
Beignets at Cafe Orleans (especially with the raspberry sauce)
Gumbo and pommes frites at Cafe Orleans
Churros (but only when they are hot!)
Loaded baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe
Chicken fusili at Red Rocket's Pizza Port
Popcorn
Chicken natchos at White Water Snacks
Pretzel from Wetzel's Pretzel's

Good think I do all that walking while we are at DL. :)
