Hi everyone. I am new to this board but am trying to loose weight and live a healthier life. I am doing water areobics twice a week and pilates once a week. On the days that I can't get to my club I am trying to do some videos at home.

Now I want to try to watch the amount of calories I am eating along with fat and all the other fun stuff. I am looking for an online program that I can use that is free. The ones that I have found all cost $$ and I just can't do that right now.

Are there any that you have used that you like that work? I have found one to track the amount of calories burned depending on the exercse, but the food tracker isn't very good at all.

Any help is appreciated.

I am going to be on here cheering others on and hope to get pushed a little myself. I am a mother of 2. I had two seperate abdominal surgeries, one before my pregnancies and one emergency c-section. My stomach muscles are shot and I am working to get those back into shape. The rest of my body has just gotten to a point that I can't take it any longer.

I hope everyone is doing well and walking off that weight!!!

I use Spark People and really like it. Calorieking.com has calorie info for free but to track, you have to pay. I've cross-referenced them several times because they have way more stuff than Spark People.

Sparkpeople.com is wondeful! I have found several people on there that live in the same town as me and are very supportive.

i'm using sparkpeople too --- it's fantastic when i get myself to faithfully journal!

sparkpeople too! thanks to MelC for getting me there. I have taken a break but now that the 1/2 marathon is over and I am getting back to reality - that includes my return to healthy lifestyle and trying to get some of the extra off - FOR GOOD!!!!

Sparkpeople will be my way to count and journal - my LOSS :yay:

Is sparkpeople better than fitday, for those who've tried both? Thanks!

I haven't tried both, but my mom has, and she recommended Spark over Fitday.

Thanks :) I joined Spark People last night and I really like it so far!
