Sorry you didn't get to do muppets. I love it, it cracks me up no matter how many times I've seen it. I love the picture of Calvin sitting in the paint You're really accomplishing a lot on this day!

I'm glad you finally got your cupcake. I don't know what my problem is that I didn't like it. Maybe it was just that it was too early in the morning for a treat like that because I'm pretty sure I got it first thing after grabbing FP for TSM at RD. But I remember you commenting something about it and being disappointed I didn't like it, hahaha. So I'm glad you liked it better than I did!

Glad things went so well and your meal was good and Calvin was enjoying himself. That's great that he loved the show too. Mmmm, cupcake! I haven't tried the butterfinger one, but I love the chocolate peanut butter. Every time I see that fudge in the center of a butterfinger one, though, I have to laugh - remembering when we met friends on a trip in 2010 and their little boy ate ALL of the fudge while his dad and brother were in the bathroom (they were going to share the cupcake), then declared, "And I DIDN'T like it!!!" That whole Muppets area is so well-themed. Thanks for all the pictures of it, as I have not seen a lot of those details. And I love the picture of Calvin in the paint...toddler mess!

I know ABC Commissary gets inconsistent reviews. I've always liked the salad offerings there but the decor is just so bland. Glad you enjoyed your meal.

I definitely felt something strange that day...I think it was you and your look as you were reading about the cupcake!

I was very surprised with our experience at ABC. Definitely enjoyed it!

It is good, but I've got to say that I prefer the Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcake. A combination of 2 of my favorite foods ever.

I've got to try that one next time, seeing as it's been recommended twice now. Thanks!

Ok, I'm a little conflicted here. I kind of want to feel bad for your DH for being dragged to 2 things in a row that he really wasn't interested in... but one of those things was Muppets and lack of interest is almost inexcusable. But then you went to a Christmas shop and there's not really anything worse than that... Yeah, I guess I'm on his side on this one still.

But listen! This next update, he'll be more than paid back for the Christmas store. You'll see..

At this point, I remember DM not feeling good and saying she needs a drink. No, not as in a hot tea or water. Something stiff I wanted to go take DS to the Baby Care Center to get him changed and rinse out a few of his bottles, etc. We were also trying to fill up time waiting for our ADR over at the Brown Derby at 6:50pm so this was a great time filler. We all went our separate ways, agreeing I’d meet them back at the Tune-In Lounge when I was done.

Once I was done with the Baby Care Center, I thought it would be nice to walk around because DS was starting to fall asleep and let DM and DH work on their drinks. So I headed towards the Magic of Animation building hoping I could take the stroller in. Nope. Then I remembered I hadn’t ever been to One Man’s Dream so walked that way. And of course no strollers allowed. I really didn’t feel like waking him up and walking around with him in my arms as he wasn’t walking yet. So thought I would grab a snack I’d never had at WDW before and found a stand next to Echo Lake



Yes! I’ve never had popcorn at WDW before! And I’m kicking myself for not getting it sooner. So buttery, hot and salty, it was perfect. They were also selling mugs and they had only one type of Monsters mug left so I bought that one and we use it a few times a week for coffee.



It was really nice under the shade, snacking away on my popcorn, watching people, DS napping peacefully…until I get a slightly slurred call from DH. “Wheeere are yoooouuu? Come have drinks!” And then he hung up. Guess he didn’t care where I was since I didn’t get a chance to answer him! I figured I should go check in on them and headed their way. When I walked in, there was only them two at the bar with two drinks each. Okkkay. I don’t think the Tune-in does happy hour or specials, so I’m not sure why they each had two mixed drinks but whatever. They were both happy and having a good time. DS was still sleeping, so I thought why not occupy my ‘free’ time with a nice cold Yuengling





Oh yeah and about my popcorn. I walked in with it ¾ filled, in 5 minutes it was gone. DH and DM had devoured it! Thank goodness I got a few handfuls in before meeting them

People starting to make their way in. P.S. Aren’t I the best mom ever?! I’m sitting at a bar, with DS in the stroller behind me!





I was about halfway done with my beer when DS woke up and thought I should sit with him at the couches, leaving DM and DH to their drinks at the bar



Then the lounge emptied



DS was getting antsy and wanted to keep moving so I let DH finish off my beer while I went outside near Echo Lake. DH ran up to me and we had this conversation:

DH: Let’s eat here!
Me: But we have reservations at 6:50 at the Brown Derby
DH: But DM and I are hungry now and it’s not even 5!
Me: Well, you can try and put your name in, but it’s going to be bu-

And he ran to the podium. Like, ran. As in bolted, leaving me talking to myself I didn’t even get the chance to ask him if he remembered he didn’t like the look of the menu. Guess he didn’t care I knew there wasn’t going to be much of a chance that we were going to get in. That or there was going to be a very long wait.

I passed the time taking pictures while DH was in line at the podium(DM was still inside finishing her drink/s)









DM did come out a few minutes later and asked what was going on and told her that DH was trying to get us into 50’s PTC. She looked very excited because she’s wanted to try this place since her first trip.

DH came over and said it would be 30 minutes. Wow! How did that happen, I don’t know but I called the Dining line to cancel our ADR at the Brown Derby and went and waited by the front door of PTC. DH went back into the Lounge to get another beer. Five minutes latercool1, “Crow Family” got called! How awesome is that! DH heard our name from the bar and met us at the front and we all walked in together.

Kind of a bummer that they didn't let strollers into One Man's Dream, but I can see it getting pretty congested in there if there were 20 strollers or something

You know, I was never sold on choosing popcorn at a Disney park (so many other yummy things to try, right??!) and then one time one of the kids insisted on it. SOLD. They must put crack in it. So good.

That is too funny about the drinks at Tune-In. Love it. And I too wanna know what they said when you cancelled the Brown Derby!!! They make such a big deal with that credit card hold and 24 hour policy.
