We will be in WDW during this time so Im looking for some info on how F & WF works. Do you just walk up and get what food you want or do you pay a certain price. Any info....much appreciated!!

You'll love this. The F&W Fest. is great. What it is, is there are little booths set up all around the world showcase. They have menus displayed on the top of the explaining what they are offering that day. Each country has about 4-5 different choices. Ranging in price between $2-6. It is fantastic. You can make a meal out of trying different things. They are not huge samples but enough to get the taste. And if you don't like it you can say you tried it and didn't wait that much money. It's not like going to one of the rest. and wasting $20 on a meal you don't like. My DH loved the F&W F. He tried something from each stand. That was his goal for this past trip! Have a great time!

I did the F & W Festival for the first time this year and can't wait to go back next year! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you do a search over on the Restaurants board you will find a lot of reviews from people who went this year, that will give you a really good idea of what to expect.

I hope you have a great time! :)

Sorry to be the dissenting voice, but I hated the Food and Wine Festival. I thought it was soooooo expensive, even for Dinsey. I thought the booths narrowed the passageways. By 7 pm, there were quite a few drunk, cursing and inconsiderate people. I have a stroller and I can't tell you how many people cut us off, even stepping on the front wheel of the stroller. I felt very sorry for those in wheelchairs and the electric carts (forget what they're called), since they were also subjected to the same treatment. By 7 you couldn't even MOVE. I'm sure, though, if you went earlier in the day or were not encumbered with a stroller or by a wheelchair, it was a delightful time. And, in all honesty, it would probably have been a blast with a group of adults... just not with my kids. I much preffered the flower and garden show in the spring.

It did make for more crowds in Epcot, I couldn't believe how shoulder to shoulder it was on a Friday night. During the week though I went and walked right up to every booth. We went without kids also, my kids never would have stood for waiting for food at all those booths. It can get quite expensive, I'm sure the two of us spent close to $100 doing one loop around the World Showcase, we considered that our dinner for the night. We had a blast and really enjoyed all the sampling. Have fun.
