Tip: Purchase a Food and Wine Festival gift card to pay your way around the World Showcase. It's much easier than trying to dig for cash or credit cards are you go from location to location.

Where can I buy the gift cards? :confused3

Thanks,
Maria

Pretty much anywhere at Epcot during the festival.

These are festival themed gift cards, but they are used the same way as any other Disney gift card.

Thank you TDC Nala. Didn't know if we had to purchase them outside the parks ahead of time. :goodvibes

You can also purchase the half-size gift cards with wristband at any Disney Water Park ticket or Guest Relations window.

Oh, thanks for this tip! :goodvibes We will be there for the 1st day of F&W and we've never been there for this so I'm not entirely sure what to expect.

So are the "themed" gift cards just regular gift cards or are they on a wrist band also?

By "any guest relations window" does that include at Epcot (for the half size cards on wristbands)? Would it be where tickets are sold outside the park or is it somewhere inside the park?

Also if there is money left on it when we are full (:)) can we spend it anywhere disney cards are accepted? In other words we eat till we drop, then we still have ten dollars left - we can spend that in MK the next day?

You can spend any leftovers on your cards ANYWHERE in WDW. In the shops in DTD, any park, any restaurant, anywhere. You can even take it home and use it on your next trip 2 years from now. :)

The themed cards come in both styles, regular card and wristband. DH uses regular (he has big wrists and thinks the wristband is too tight for him), I use the writband.

You will find them for purchase all over Epcot. At every register pretty much. You can re-load with more money when they run out as well. I usually load $50 on my card and then put another $50 when the first $50 is gone. Keep the receipt in your fanny pack or pocket. If you should lose your card somehow, you go to any cash register with the receipt and they can see in the computer how much is left (assuming someone didn't find it and use it all up in the meantime!) and they will re-issue you a new one with the remaining balance. A lot safer than cash and even credit cards (which can't get replaced on the spot).

The half size cards are year-round only at the water parks. So the ticket and Guest Relations windows I referred to are at the water parks, not generally all-over property.
