I know we can book on August 6th, but since this our first festival visit I was wondering if they release the menus before hand, or a more detailed description?

I know we want to do a party for the senses (hoping they have one every Saturday night so we dont miss it) but if the menu appeals to me I would also like to book other events. (I this makes sense) I dont want to wait untill someones trip report in Mid-september and be unable to book something really appealing to me because it is sold out.

They usually do offer advance details on the special events. I know last year they announced the details a week or so before taking reservations, but some here have said they don't think they're releasing details til 3 August. Not much time to decide if you ask me! :sad2: Just keep watching the boards! :hippie:

Thanks!!!!!! I am not really a seafood person so I didnt want to sign up for something that was 50% seafood on the menu.

I hear ya! I have "fishues" myself.

They don't always list the full menus for some of the dinners but they do list the menu focus so it's easy to avoid seafood. You won't find a menu online for Party For the Senses but you will get one when you enter and even though the seafood is there it's not hidden under weird names and sauces - it's pretty obvious. I went last year and it was fantastic! Just make sure to EAT LIGHT all day before the party! ;)

They usually don't release menus ahead of time. When you book these events you are taking a chance on what the meal will be.

They list regions/theme of the meal, date, time, etc..but you don't know the menu until you arrive and are seated for dinner.

Every Party for the Senses is different..so you can't go by an early menu on that either.

Good luck!

But don't let that stop you from attending, there are so many choices you will find plenty to enjoy. It's also a great opportunity to try different foods you wouldn't normally eat -I found a lot of things that were delicious that under other circumstances I would never order. Then again, there were a few that I would still avoid!
