Sorry but that is the incomplete listing from the WDW website which has already been posted many times.
Hmmm, Dh and I have been taking longer and longer vacations during the wine and food fest, but it looks like we may have to re-think our plan. Our plan was to eventually be at the Food and Wine Fest for the entire time (currently at almost 3 weeks), but with the cutbacks this year, we will look at other Food and Wine Fest's to attend and cut back our 'used to be favorite' to 1 week.
What gives? Did WDW just get too complacent because of how popular the Food and Wine Fest became? It became popular because of all that was offered. Now they are reducing so many popular things; the wine pairings, the wine seminars, the signature dinners...............too many reductions to make this event something that we 'have to do'.
I've looked over the brochure and don't see the Aussie Wine Walkabout listed. Is there one this year?

Yes, there is...and the wines there are quite good. All four wineries new this year, the aussie employees are thrilled and so were hubby and I when we tried them yesterday.

What exactly is a Wine Walkabout? Would it be odd for me to bring my teenager along with me? (It's just the two of us this time.) How much talking/listening is involved? I don't want to bore him too much, but I love this kind of thing!
Sorry for all the questions. This is my first F&WF, and I can't wait! TIA
the wine walkabouts require a "passport" in order to participate. Basically you pay about $10-$15 per person in order to sample four different wines ... in past years it's not been a very large area, but there are displays set up for each region that's being featured and there is a CM at each "stop" who will pour your wine (when you show that passport) and answer any questions you may have. There's no time limit ... it's as long or as short as you want it to be.
Feel free to correct me Webray, since I haven't been to one this year (yet).![]()
Thanks for the quick response. It sounds great! Where do I get a passport?

Finally - does anyone know any details on this "California Food & Wine Festival" that's listed on the very last page? It looks like it is scheduled during the Flower & Garden Festival, so if you planned your next trip for between April 24th and May 31st, you would get to attend both festivals at the same time.
