food and car off site vs. dining plan and disney transportation

You have all given me much to think about!! I'm really looking forward to my stay. I don't really want to cook on vacation, but I'm dying to try out the nice kitchen in the suite!

Thanks!

and if anyone has ever stayed in that suite let me know how it was!!

There is a thread on here about that suite-sounds wonderful. We've done it both ways--on-site with the dining plan and off without. We really enjoyed the "don't look at the right side of the menu" aspect of dining, but it was too much food and I felt like we were always rushing to a reservation or trying to figure out how many credits we had used or had left. If we were going during free dining, I'd go for it again, but otherwise, I like choice. We like some of the off-site restaurants (Columbia in Celebration, LoneStar, Golden Corral for breakfast). We also like the on-sites and go to those as we wish. We are AP holders so we have a DDP card and this saves 20%. Maybe you should look at this.

believe me you can find a much bigger/better/cheap buffett offsite. they do exist.

and instead of being charged over $20 for breakfast - it will probably be under $10 for breakfast

I have tried a few of those and most (not all) are pretty awful. Golden Corral tops my list as a place which is cheap but the food is low quality and stomachache inducing.
