Hi,
I have contaced Disney dining about my rosemary allergy, and they have sent me a list about the foods that are available and relevent food intollerences, like gluten free, nut dairy etc
Not much good to me unfortunately, but may be of use to others to help plan meals.
If anyone is interested, let me know and I will forward details :goodvibes

I'm so glad you posted this. I contacted Special Diets earlier in the year so I have the stuff, but it is priceless to have if you struggle with allergies. They really are outstandng the way that they accommodate dietary needs. I wish I could get them to run a training course for VA :rolleyes1

Hi Tigs,
Glad you already have it. I had you in mind when I posted, but also Meldud after what happened with VA:scared1: You really would expect them to have some sort of back up plan in these situations; especially when you think how much the flights cost!!!!

That is so considerate of you. :goodvibes Actually it is also a good reminder because reading your post has prompted me to get my list of ADRs to pass on to the diets team. :thumbsup2

I know, I felt quite emotional reading Meldud's post the other night. Okay, I had had a rough day and wasnt on top form, but having been there and looking into the innocent, tear filled eyes of your child, while they apologise for being a nuisance is just heart breaking. At least having learnt my lesson (it took more than one occasion to get it into my head), I can plan around it and know when we go that I have a meal for her. We are staying at the airport the night before so I will have to take pre packaged food for her and then buy some safe things like yogurts once past security.

I know how I would feel if it was one of mine. If VA can't guarantee they will have the relevent meal available, then they shouldn't offer it! At least then you would know to cater yourself!
I bet the food you take for Tove will be far more appetising than the plane food anyway!! :goodvibes
