Food Allergies at Disneyland

Hello,

We are thinking about travelling to Disneyland this summer. I am gluten intollerant and my sister can not have rice products (rice flour or rice milk) or dairy.

Have any of you had experiences with food allergies at the Disneyland parks and hotels? We were last there in 2009, and I'm sure things have changed quite a bit.

If any of you would be willing to answer some questions or make some recommendations for me, I'd really appreciate it.

I feel like WDW is better with allergies than DL. At WDW you ask about food allergies and they immediately know what to do, give you a book with ingredients and/or have the chef come out. A few times at DL they seemed unsure. I wasn't able to read ingredients as easily. One time they went and brought the box out to me to read. It wasn't horrible, just not as "safe feeling" as WDW.
