Do you remember seeing the Hoop De Doo Rev as a child? If so, do you remember it moreso than other childhood special shows or live productions? It's gotta be long-running for a reason ...

I would love to hear what people have to say, as I will be making ressies for this dinnershow for our next trip. It sounds like soooo much fun. The few times we've gone to Disney we have never done the Hoop, but this time my son being almost 9 I thought it would make a good memory.

Absolutely!! I loved HDDR as a child. I remember my mom wasn't able to get ADRs one trip and she called every day for months trying to get us a spot. The day we checked in to the CR she asked at the desk and they were able to get us a table! We ended up with the best table and had a blast.

I saw it twice as a kid and still have memories of both trips - my dad was the angel both times

We have great pictures and I remember getting to bang on that washboard.

My DS 12 remembers that at the age of 5 he was "chosen" to go up on stage and didn't go because he didn't want to be on TV. LOL He thought the person in charge of the spotlight was a camera man.

We used to go every year and my dad was picked as the angel too!!!
It really is a fun time.....my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) still mentions the ribs from time to time....
