"Following" Someone

I'm not sure how I have previously missed this truly bizarre and awkward thread! Wow.

It made me wonder though if we should start "Thread of the Year" awards. We could have nominations throughout the year, then set up polls to determine the "winner." We could even have various categories. Just thinking out loud...

ok i see that everyone hates me on here so if you want me too leave i will i just joined because i like disney i never did anything wrong you just made me cry im a real person with real feelings im sorry im following i have no friends im not on here too be mean im kind caring and respectful of cause you will never know because you wont read my autism tread which is sad when did disney fans become so mean i never asked too be hurt on here i wish you would get too know me i really wasnt trying too do anything wrong i dont understand why everyone is being mean too me
Unfortunately, there are mean people in this world. I try not to be one of them. That is why I basically just made jokes on this thread. I actually have had a previous scary experience with a real life stalker (years ago) so I am a cautious person. I don't put my location on here, for example. That being said, I don't hate you and I don't believe you did anything to purposely alarm people. I have no problem with you at all actually. I figure the world has too much hate in it already so I refuse to help contribute to that. I understand autism (as much as anyone who doesn't actually have it can understand it, that is). I work in health care and my daughter has a friend with autism. He's only 10 though.

I do not get on your autism thread much but that is simply because I don't get on here much in general so I don't have a lot of time to read. I think you should post as little or as often as you want though. People can respond or not respond. I feel the same about things like Facebook. I don't like everything people post on there but I respect people and their right to post it so I just scroll on past.

Ignore those who are mean to you. People sometimes react unkindly to things and people that they don't understand.

And how is feeling that way, hateful?

Basically someone is saying, "this bothers me." And the response is, "You are being mean." Or, "there is too much hate in the world."

Crazy.

Actually, I was responding to the guy who is autistic based on what HE said he was feeling. I was also describing my own feelings. I never said anyone on this thread was mean or hateful. I was explaining to him that there are mean and hateful people out there and I try not to be one of them. I stand by that statement as, until you can prove me wrong, there ARE mean and hateful people out there and I do try not to be one of them.

Are you, personally, mean and hateful? Hmmm, how the heck should I know? And why would that really concern me too much anyway? I do think most people are pretty freaked out by an anonymous person on the Internet. But, again, JMO.

As far as if this makes me crazy... eh, I've been called worse and for sillier reasons. I have a thick skin. I'm no crazier than half the people that frequent these boards. You may read into that however you will. ;)

is it ok if i talk too you thanks for understanding me

I do not generally respond to PMs, Mikie. It's nothing personal. I don't mind responding on threads. But, unless I really know someone, or there is a good specific reason for PMs, I choose not to. This is where I do agree with everyone else. But I'm like that on any online site and toward anyone.
