Followed Josh's advice.

AND had a great time. We did exactly what Josh said to do. Well, ok, maybe not word for word, but, I am glad we did. Crowds didn't seem as bad as our past 2 trips in July when we followed the EMH schedule.

We were at rope drop on Josh's recommended days. We were able to get some headliners done early. As a matter of fact, DH AND DS rode Splash 3 times in a row. Once they were the first in line for it.


We got more done in this trip then we have in the past.

i always use Josh's recommended parks as a base for my plan. And now I have a friend telling me what she's read on his site, lol. I have created a few Disney monsters....

There are many factors as to why this trip went so smooth, I can't pick the REAL why. But, here they are: No 5th person (grammas) to hold us up. No stroller, diaper changes, MAJOR potty breaks, no real need to leave for a nap.

Everyone at A&E or DHS for all the Frozen fun stuff. Or maybe all of the above

I like to think with Josh's advice and all of the above helped make this a great trip.

You sound like us! This will be our first trip in 25 yrs where will not have either a stroller , wheelchair (gramma) or both! Glad to hear your trip went more smoothly than previous.... Looking fwd to the same in sept!

I dont' think there is a general majority opinion on this. One is free and one is not so that is going to play a part.

IMO - you can't go wrong with either. I have heard people say there was disagreement between the two sites on certain days but in my last 3 trips our specific days were the same with both sites....

I usually start with Josh during my planning stage (and cross reference with TP) and then use the TP app while I'm there. Best of both worlds.

The key IMO, is to understand the methodology of both. Don't just blindly go by either if you don't understand what they are telling you and why. Then you can use your own judgement if there is a difference....
