Folks From The New England

:sunny: Can you imagine DH & I are 50 and still go to WDW once a year! The last 2x the kids have been in college so we go alone and LOVE THE MOUSE. In Jan we are going on the WONDER with a 4 night stay at AKL!!! We are counting the days!!!! :earsboy: momrek06

At least twice per year, sometimes 3 times, to get the most bang our of our annual passes.

Most years we have been fortunate to go twice a year. But in 2005 it was 3 times. :teeth:

We were marred in 97 and have gone at least once a year. After buying DVC and an add on we have gone at least twice a year.

This year was a good one!

May 6 nights at the BC
Sept 3 nights at VWL ($49 each way ding!)
Nov-Dec 8 nights at OKW/Poly ($79 each way air)

Total of 20 days within the '05year.

Have 2 trips "planned" right now for '06
6 nights in May at BWV
5 nights in Oct at BWV

And if a good ding comes out maybe one more in between!

Between AP, DVC and dings I cant resist! :)

On my one AP alone I will have been able to use it for 27 days. May 05-May '06.

After my first trip to WDW in '99, I was going to try and go every 18 months. Then, it became my 'special' place. So, now I'm at the point of going about twice a year. However, it's been more like 3 times a year for the past several years. Now, I have mother/daughter trips planned, maybe a trip with dd and dh, and then there is my solo trip for the Jellyrolls meet during MouseFest. I am a very lucky lady.

We went in 2000 and then again this past october. 5 yrs for us. We are hoping to go back in 4 years when DS2 is 6 1/2 or so.

Next year its either Canada or Washington DC

Twice a year in April and August. Next year we are thinking of also going for a couple days in December to see the Christmas decorations and other events.

No pattern here;

We went once in 2003 (Oct), 2x in 2004 (April and Dec) and once in 2005 (May/June). Probably won't make it back in 2006 as I just booked a Southern Carribean cruise for our 10th Anniversary. DH didn't want to "Do Disney" again.

But I may try to sneak in a trip with my mom in 2006 - she's always game for a trip to Disney!!!

Try to go at least every other year with the "kids", but they are all adults now and it's harder for all of us to get the same time off from our jobs. Went this past October with just my DH. We had fun, but it wasn't the same without the kids. :grouphug:

we go twice a year! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

1st time this year was in August...2nd time is...TOMORROW MORNING! (it was a surprise today for an early xmas present) :sunny:

HI ALL!
Went to Local AAA TODAY and bought 2005 6 Day Hopper for $227 each $30 OFF New 2006 prices!!! :cool1: AAA said they will sell at old price as long as they last! :moped:
GOOD LUCK!!!

At least once a year, sometimes twice (we have a timeshare in Kissimmee). Last year we went for a long weekend in late May and 6 nights in late October prior to our 3-day Disney cruise. Right now we're planning a trip for late April/early May - just waiting to hear if our nephew, who's never been to WDW, will be able to go with us (company for our DD12!!). We'll be making just one trip this year because we're going to the Virgin Islands in June for 10 days and that will take care of our vacation budget for the year!!

We went once in 2004 and twice in 2005. We are going again April 2007 and will probably keep it at every other year after that for a while.

Wow. I am really surprised with how often everyone goes to Disney World. We go every other year. With a family of six and both my DH and I are teachers, the only time we can go is when it is crowded and more expensive. We also take an anual vacation at the ocean so that takes away from our vacation fund for Disney.

Last year we went twice, not going this year do to a job loss.

If we could afford it twice maybe threee times a year.

at least twice a year. in '05 we went 3 times, one trip was fairly spontaneous the other 2 planned well in advance.
