Flying with Prescription Medicines

My husband takes quite a few prescription medicines. We normally pack
them in one of the plastic daily medicine cases. Can we fly with his
medicine like this or do they need to be in the orginal prescription bottles?

i would keep them in the prescription bottles until you get there then put it into the med cases just to be safe and keep them in a carryon with you.
