I did a search, as I know this question has been asked. no luck

My Mom, and aunt will be flying w/ my kids this weekend (ages 6, & 10) I purchased their one way tickets separately w/ my CC, from my mom who purchased 2 RT ticket. They will be flying Southwest.

Any special ID, or documentation needed? I can send birth cert., and she will have a health POA, w/ her. I've never been asked for any ID, for the girls. I was just worried, because the reservations were made separately, and they won't be with their parents? Of course, names are different too.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks :wave2:

You might prepare them for extra security. Those who fly with 1-way tickets often get selected for extra security searches (even children). It's not as intimidating if you know it might happen.

Best wishes-

Definitely not a problem. My Mom flew from Orlando with my 2 DS's, ages 6 & 9, in June on SW. Tickets were all booked individually, and my DS's were one-way tickets. We often purchase one-way tickets with SW and have never been subject to extra security searches, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

I would recommend making sure to check in on-line ahead of time to assure group A boarding passes. I'm sure they'd appreciate having less stress in making sure they can sit together.

Thanks everyone. I knew you could help.

I have told them to make sure to check in ahead of time. Hopefully my aunt will figure it out. DH, and I will be out of state so that doesn't help.

I will prepare the girls, (and my mom) for possible extra security. They have flown a lot so nothing will be too new to them.
