Flying into Lax this weekend...

FYI, forgot to mention it earlier but Mickey and Friends parking has been filling and closing early with some regularity recently (at least on weekends) and then you have to drive around the park to Toy Story lot. If your plan is to arrive after about noon on a weekend, be prepared for this possibility.

I haven't experienced that. It was really bad a few months ago when they had the So Cal tickets. Once that ended, it has been smooth sailing for me.

They do that off and on throughout the day. And often if you come in over the flyover you can still get in to the garage. Coming from South county, I do not come that direction but have gone around a block and back over to fly over and into the garage. I also have played the take any spot I can gfind game on whatever floor they send me to on a Saturday afternoon.

Do you know what time of day they flip traffic flow on the flyover? Seems to me that it is before 2 pm.

I really don't! I have times I expect it to be flowing out, but it is still flowing in and vice versa. I am not sure there is a definite time - I think it probably depends on traffic flow on a given day. Same with the exit from the Pixar Pals garage. It is not open all day, but usually is later in the day.

It has not been open at all when I’ve come in the early afternoons, but couldn’t say a specific time. never arrive before noon but rarely after 3pm.

FWIW: We went to DLR last night. As usual, we take the 5 to State College/City, turn onto Orangewood, then Harbor and into TS parking lot.

Big mistake last night. A very large protest was making its way up Orangewood - dozens of cars, hundreds of people - and moving at a snail’s pace. They ended up going down Harbor but… Anaheim PD blocked them from entering the DLR. There’s tons of videos on social media.

We ended up missing the fireworks but it ended up being a beautiful night at DLR so I can’t complain.

So if you’re worried about protesters in/ near DLR… no military or national guard needed here, Anaheim PD is on it.
