Flying instead of driving now : )

I am so excited! Finally talked everyone into the fact to fly vs drive. It will be myself and hubby.. our 3.5 year old daughter and also hubby's parents. If we drove from Texas.. it would have been a 17 hour drive with just hubby and I driving. We did it in august and I wasn't really looking forward to doing it again.

So we want to fly Southwest .... and hubby's all excited about using the Magical Express now : ) We won't have our car like we did this past summer but the only 2 breakfast reservations we are hoping for that aren't in parks are Minnie's Beach Bash at Beach Club and Ohana. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge so we are planning on taking the boat to MK and then the monorail to the poly for Ohana.... and Uber with a car seat to Beach Club.

Do those sound like a good plan? We are excited and March can't get here fast enough!

Hopefully someone can confirm your transportation around the resort/restaurants will work well!

Sounds good...my only comment is to check the boat schedule upon arrival. We made the mistake of walking out to the boat at WL for our Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK only to find the boats weren't running yet. Turned around and caught a bus to MK and made the tour in plenty of time, but just be aware the boats don't run early in the morning.

Yea that was my plan... even if we did do uber or something over to the poly , 2 uber rides of the trip wouldn't be bad at all : ) Never stayed at Wilderness Lodge before so we'll definately be checking the schedules Thank you for the reminder! I'm glad you made it in time for your tour!

Thank you! when i live in CT/ ME we always flew, but then I went about 8 years without going..... and when we moved to texas and decided to go last summer , we decided to drive. But when your drive with your in laws and they are afraid to drive your suburban and leave all the driving up to hubby and i... i wanted to arrive rested and not stressed out : ) Now have to wait til airline schedules come out
