We're planning a 2/27 -3/7 trip for next year, 2004, and I was wondering what flyers out of PHL, ABE, AVP or other eastern Pa. ports are paying RT to MCO around these dates this year so I can budget. The rates I'm seeing on various web sites seem to have slipped up from $170 at PHL and $232 from the smaller airports, which we've paid in the past. Comments?

Thanks,

The cheapest this morning on USAir from PHL was $192 plus taxes. This was for flexible dates (from their website). Seems higer than I remember. We usually fly down to Tampa for spring training 2nd week of march & have paid closer to $175 including taxes.

This August from IPT (Williamsport) we're paying $199. Normally, it's about $250. MDT(Harrisburg) usually runs about $200.

We have flown out of Newark and Philadelphia. This year our rt flight is $2oo, although I did see the price just drop to around $180. Newark prices are a little higher around $220 rt. I also looked at ABE and they really didn't have any rt fights. The only ones I saw were to Sanford. So far. Phila seems to have most times and best prices for flights.

We flew out of BWI on Southwest and paid 166.00. BWI was the only airport that had non-stop flights. We live in Central PA and it was less than a 2 hour drive to BWI.

March 2002, we paid $180 RT for direct non-stop AirTran flight from PHL to MCO. Due to strange circumstances (Travelocity screw-up), had to purchase tickets AT THE GATE (on a Sunday!!!) for the same trip and was pleasantly surprised to find the RT price was around $230.

This year, Late March/early April, Southeast airlines out of ABE direct non-stop to Sanford...$133 RT! Purchased tix back in October. Though I don't like the length of the drive from Sanford to WDW, I do like the flight times for SE. The flight down usually arrives at 9:30am. The return flight departs Sanford at 7:30pm, which allows us to get the most out of both arrival and departure days!

HTH!

Southeast Airlines, $153 r/t (everything included) for ABE/Sanford the last week of February. We leave Allentown at 7:00 AM on a Monday and leave Sanford at 7:30 PM on a Saturday, both direct flights.

I agree about ABE. Got flights for $133 rt to Sanford for March 20 and 27th. Sanford might be a little farther away then MCO but I've heard glowing reports about Sanford. We are renting a car to drive to WDW for $41.00 and leaving it at the Dolphin. This way we can stop at Walmart or Publix and grab something to eat at Mickey D's or BK. Either way $133 works for me....They don't fly out of ABE daily though so check that. I'm doing Thursdays. The web is www.flyseal.com
